Location: The Coach House is a short (and very pretty) walk from Canterbury East train station, and right in the centre of town. The cathedral and a variety of lovely pubs and restaurants are all close by - I'd recommend The Parrot (oak beams, good pub food and a roaring fire) as well as Cafe du Soleil, where we spent... I had made a booking 3 months prior to my trip and got a confirmation from Claire. When I reached the Coach House with my family, I saw a note from Claire mentioning that she is out and provided a telephone number. I called but there was no response. So I took my family for dinner. It was after many... More

What a gem... If your stopping in Canterbury, you could not find a better located place to stay... Minutes from the high street and restauants, and a short walk to the cathedral and Marlowe theatre... From the minute you arrive at this quaint and quirky b&b, along with the delightful Clare and Carol, nothing is too much trouble... If you... More

The Coach House offers nice and spacious rooms, with seperate private bathrooms. It is an old building with surprisings stair cases. The house is located at the edge of the pedestrian zone in the city center. There are about 4 parking spaces at the house, a big parking house is at walking distance. The breakfast was good, but a little... More

If you like something a bit different with quirky decoration [in the nicest sense of the word] and to be in the centre of Canterbury, this is the place for you. Our room was large, clean and very comfortable with a big bathroom [with both shower and bath] next door for our sole use. Breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked... More

I had already emailed the establishment to tell them I'd be arriving late but still got called in the evening to ask for my arrival time. Friendly welcome and good wifi and shower. Location central. BUT....Cluttered hallway - full of kids' shoes. TV in room cut out after 30 minutes for no reason (this is clearly a permanent fault as... More

This B+B is very conveniently situated for exploring (and shopping) in Canterbury. The room was small, clean and the beds comfortable with a nice bathroom and excellent shower. The welcome from Clare's mother in law was warm and friendly. Clare herself could have been more welcoming. The cooked breakfast was good, however the service was very slow - not much... More

Stayed here for one night there were four of us and we had been booked into one room, however, on arrival Claire the owner offered us two twins at no extra cost as she had a vacancy. As we were leaving early to catch the shuttle she also agreed to prepare a packed breakfast, great service. As for the rooms... More

We are a large family (4 children) and were in Canterbury for a weekend. Clare offered us two rooms with an extra bed and made us feel at home. The rooms were well decorated and spacious, the bathrooms spotlessly clean. We all enjoyed the cooked breakfast and the Coach house's central position. The children are already looking forward to coming... More
