Had a great family room ( 1 very large double and 2 singles) Very clean and the furniture is lovely ( not an ikea wardrobe in sight !) The rooms have a separate bathrooms so not ideal but the size of the bathroom makes up for the inconvenience. The B&B is run by a young couple with small children and... More

I have stayed in many hotels all over the world. This was easily the worst place I have ever stayed. I'll recount the 'incident' below and you can make your own mind up whether this is somewhere you'd like to stay. I was staying here on business for three nights (£85 per night). I am a University lecturer. On my... More

Top hotel, top people. I really can't understand the negative reviews..... They must be written by people who were expecting a travelodge style sterile environment. I stopped here on business and found it to be a great retreat after a hard day at the office.... And who needs a common room when the bedrooms are so big. My only niggle... More

I thoroughly enjoyed my 5 night stay at The Coach House in Canterbury!! The location is within walking distance to all the beauty that is Canterbury. Clare and her husband made me feel so at ease and would go out of there way to help and advice me on the surrounding area. I slept so well every night. Great wifi,... More

We stayed here for a weekend get away We made our booking to include breakfast. I must say the owner is friendly warm and a lovely lady, she enjoyed a chat and was more than accommatating. The breakfast was fab, thick local sausages and cooked to order so came out warm and just as we ordered. So we were happy... More

The rooms in this Grade 2 listed building are spacious and well appointed. The breakfast is either continental or cooked after 8.30 am. And both breakfasts are great. This would have had an excellent review but for three small issues. The doorbell does not seem to reach into the interior loudly enough- so that we waited some time when we... More

The room was clean and quiet, the bed comfortable and the house in an excellent central location. However I was very disappointed to discover on Saturday morning that there was no cooked breakfast, especially since the web site makes much of the quality of the cooked breakfast. I had emailed a request for a vegetarian breakfast 2 days before, as... More

This B&B is located conveniently close to Canterbury town centre. The two rooms we stayed for three nights are nice and clean, but due to structure of the house, some of bathrooms are not in suite which is very confusing and created a few of inconvenient situations in the common corridor. It has not got any common room at all,... More

Thank you for your feedback. As per below review and response we are not a youth hostel. We do not advertise a common place to hang out in and certainly not after 9pm as you requested. We do so because of minamising disturbance to other guests and because of security. During your first nights stay we allowed you to use... More
