Tucked away just off the road from East Cowes ferry terminal close to the main centre of Newport , provides good quality straight forward rooms with comfortable beds along with basic comforts you would expect from this hotel chain . Everything was clean , comfortable and tidy with things seem to be well maintained which leaves little room for anything... more

Located next to council offices made this a quiet stop for me. Just 5 mins wall to centre of everything. Room comfortable and as expected. You get one of two views - car park or water, so it may be worth requesting. Check in was smooth and you pay on arrival, so no queues in morning. Breakfast is in the... more

I stayed here in December '08. As with all Premier inns the hotel is basic with reasonable facilities and good value. The hotel and room were clean and in good condition. Easy and free parking in the hotel's car park. more

We (my wife and 16 yr old son) stayed here after staying the previous night at the local Travelodge, i have to say it was like stepping into a 5* luxury hotel in comparison ! Simply put, if you are considering staying at the Travelodge, don't. stay at the Premier Inn. The rooms here are very comfortable, showergel provided, hairdryer,... more

I'm Premier Travel Inn's biggest fan as think the majority of their hotels are excellent value as you know what you're getting. My stay at this hotel left me of the same opinion - I was pleased we'd been given a room with a view of the canal as were planning to stay for 4 nights. The hotel is next... more

Stayed here for 1 night. Family of 4 had a large(ish) room which was quite roomy with our family of 4, plus all our luggage. The room couldn't be faulted - the bathroom, beds, and room in general was very clean & maintained to premier Travel Inn's normal quality standards. Plenty of parking. The restauant next door was a Brewers... more

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in late June, paying £70/night (incl full breakfast) for 2 adults and 1 child. Like most of the other reviewers, we enjoyed our stay. Being a Travel Inn, we pretty much knew what to expect in terms of the room facilities and cleanliness etc. The hotel is situated on the east bank... more

This hotel is in a great location, short drive from the ferry terminal, the hotel is right next to the river, we like to take a walk into Newport along the river and past all the boats, The room we had on this stay was a dissabled room, i guess thats all they had, the room was clean as always,... more

Great Hotel, only minutes from the Ferry. Staff very Friendly. We had clean and tidy family room. Located close to Newport. View of river. Restaurant / Pub next door which was not cheap but decent food. Car park quite small but able to park on adjoining office car park. All in all enjoyed the hotel and the Isle of Wight. more

This Premier Inn is in quite a nice position and, if you’re lucky, you’ll get a room with a view of the river. The check in area was quite gloomy, as is the case with most of the hotels in this chain. The check in lady was not very friendly but it’s a quick transaction and the room was to... more
