We needed a place to stay convenient to our Daughter and Grandchildren so this B&B was selected because of location as opposed to perhaps being cheaper as not being a hotel. We had not been recommended so the fact that it was a B&B without the full facilities of a hotel was perhaps a little gamble on our part. We... More

Establishment has an excellent and discrete location between St. Alban's station and town centre. The interior is very tastefully decorated and the rooms clearly have had a lot of thought put into them. The morning breakfast is absolutely excellent and Linda has many helpful ideas and information about getting the most out of your stay there. We would certainly come... More

We stayed with Linda for the 2nd time and this time was at least as good as the first. Our mother accompanied us this time and enjoyed herself. None of us have anything but highly positive comments. We shall be back again. More

We booked Linda's B&B over the net from Australia, 2A +3C, we needed St.Albans specifically as we were travelling over for a wedding. Linda could not have been more helpful, always attentive, she managed to fit the 3 children in one room comfortably allowing us to have the other to ourselves. Breakfast were sumptuous, I can honestly say I have... More

My husband and I stayed at Linda's delightful B&B for 10 nights in late August/early September. We used this B&B as our base for our southern England explorations. It was convenient to the rail station (just 20 minutes to St. Pancras station) so easy to catch early morning trains to our various destinations. Linda was kind, generous, concerned, knowledgeable, entertaining... More

Have stayed at No 29 on two occasions while en route from Edinburgh to Berkshire. It's very convenient for the main railway station with its frequent fast trains to St Pancras (just over 20 minutes). The accommodation is of a very high standard and the breakfasts keep a hungry guy such as myself satisfied until well past lunch-time! Highly recommended. More

It was pleasant stay at No.29. The room was lovely, tidy, fresh and reasonably priced. Linda was an exceptional hostess, always attentative and helpful. Breakfast was of good quality produce. One can never say No to her scrumptious fruit salad. I would definitely recommend her place to my friends. More

This is a trully lovely bed and breakfast. The owers, Linda and John are very friendly and wecoming. The rooms are gorgeous, each individually decorated to a high standard. I felt thoroughly pampered by the range of upmarket toileteries in the bathroom, big fluffy towels, hot water bottles and dressing gowns. Breakfasts were excellent....I opted for fresh fruit salad and... More
