I found the Comfort to have very friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms , a good breakfast and is only a 2 minute walk to the old town centre. Historic building (Samula Ryder , ofthe golf cup fame - had it as a seed exchange) Very pleasant stay in recently refurbished room.

I recently stayed at this hotel with my wife and another couple and found the location ideal being in the centre of town. We stayed here for one night with some friends . The hotel is very central and the staff were very helpful. Our room was very comfortable and the breakfast was also very good. Would stay here again as the hotel is also good value for money.

I have stayed at the comfort hotel on Hollywell Hill several times and can honestly say I have had never been dissapointed by the level of service provided. For £77 per night room only, I thought this was very good value. Undergoing refurbishment at the moment, but this caused me no inconvenience. Friendly reception staff and everything I needed for one night. Brand new matress, but would suggest that a matress protector would be a good idea. Would certainly stay here again.
