Well placed 15 minutes walk from the train station. Good location for a pedestrian willing to explore St Albans. Well heated rooms (very unusual in the UK) with free internet access. Breakfast nothing to write home about. more

Car park offsite - but not a problem to find once given directions. Reception were efficient. Room - bed reasonable (bit narrow), but VERY hot ... despite fan on and windows open STILL very hot ... and this was in May. Really needs to be air conditioned. Fantastic location and good value for money. If you're a non smoker, make sure you get a no smoking room. This hotel would be fantastic if was refurbished. It is a little tired.
