Stayed for one night on business. The room was the biggest I've ever stayed in (and I'm in around ten hotels a month). Fantastic location, far away from road or aircraft noise. Well maintained grounds & gardens for walks & afternoon tea on the lawn. However let down by how tired the place looked. Lovely hotel - excellent grounds - very peaceful stayed here more than once. BUT....rock hard beds and dreadful restaurant menus. The same menu repeated for months on end. That's OK if you like their style of food - but we didn't. Much better room-service menu. Stay here and eat somewhere else and take an extra duvet to sleep on. more
