Old building very creaky but is 600 years old, went with my husband and 2 staffies, staff were very helpful food okay . We were put in the very top of the hotel which made it very awkward for myself and dogs ,wouldn't preferred a lower floor. But cant complain considering they do allow dogs.

I booked this on my own for one night, taking advantage of the dinner, bed and breakfast option which was £110. This was broken down to include service charge and £25 towards dinner. On arrival, they were pretty busy and I waited to be seen at reception, eventually going to find someone; I had arrived late due to train delays... More

Me and my mother went here this evening (08.07.15) and had a wonderful meal. We live very locally so come often, normally just for drinks but decided to go out for a meal instead this evening. I often come with a group of friends on the weekends. The place is lovely, the restaurant set out is beautiful. It's really calm,... More

We stayed for a couple of nights at The Feathers and it was really very good. A family get together of 9 for dinner was managed admirably. The excellent food and service couldn't be faulted. The room was extremely comfortable and well appointed. All the landings and stairs had the antique "creak" which adds to the charm and the antiquity.Breakfast... More

I organised a social event for the Ancient Order of Foresters. A speaker attended and we were given a separate room for our small group. The only one drawback is our speaker forgot his laptop and the Hotel had nothing we could use. For such a large hotel advertising conferences this was disappointing. We went on to lunch which was... We stayed overnight for the second time in 5 months. We were visiting friends and The Chilli Festival at Eastnor Castle. We arrived very early (10.30am) as we wanted to make the most of the day. Nothing was too much trouble for the lovely man (assume Manager) who checked if our room was free and clean himself to allow us... More

My husband and I stopped at The Feathers on our way home from a trip and had a drink in the bar. We decided to have a bite to eat and chose a sharing platter of seafood which came with the most delicious homemade bread. We really couldn't fault it. Reasonably priced too.

Just had a wonderful afternoon high tea at the Feathers in their elegant restaurant. Pretty china, tiered cake plates and the food itself was very delicious. We were given smoked salmon, cheese & tomato, egg & cress, and beef sandwiches. The homemade scones were so light and tasty with yummy jam and clotted cream and then there was a plate... More
