Really lovely surroundings and helpful, welcoming hosts (they even put away our shopping that arrived before us). Loved the hot tub, pond and very friendly pigs. Nice for a getaway with kids too - things to do on site if at a loose end including walks in the woods, seeing the donkey & chickens and a game of table tennis.

At first glance a lovely lodge(Lily) and well equipped apart from the fact that there were 6 of us (adults) and we were expecting to be able to get in the hot tub together but the hot tub was the smallest we've ever had with a hoseasons lodge ( even a 2 person one) and on top of that we... More

It really is an oasis ! we had a relaxing stay (Easter mid week) it is lovely and quiet, we have two boys (aged 9 and 11) and it is perfect for them to roam in the woods, make a camp fire, play table tennis, swim and chill in the hot tub. It is very clean, comfy beds - if... More

We stayed in the dragonfly lodge for new year. There was me & my partner and our 3 children.. On arrival we were made to feel very welcome by Diana & Roland.. Once we had settled in Roland came and explained how to use/maintain the hot tub. He also informed us of places of interest within the local area.. We... More

This was our second visit and my husband and I will return again. It is a perfect, peaceful retreat to unwind and have some time to ourselves. The owners Diana and Roland are very friendly and have equipped the lodge to have everything you need. Sitting in the hot tub looking at the starry sky sipping champagne is a must!... More

We stayed in the dragonfly lodge and had a great time. The hot tub was a perfect way to relax after a day out. The lodge was clean spacious and very nicely furnished with everything we needed. Our 9yr old enjoyed feeding the pigs and donkeys, the games room and she would have loved to try the outdoor pool but... More

I cannot recommend this place highly enough - a little piece of heaven - the lodge was immaculate with comfy beds and comfy sofa's - the bunk beds were a little small for adults but otherwise no complaints - will definitely be returning!

I dont think I have stayed anywhere quite like it, and we've only been here a few hours! It is so tranquil and relaxing despite the fact that there is some road noise, but honestly, you seem to just get used to it very quickly. The lodge itself ( we are in the Lily) is fabulous and was cleaned to... More
