Just don't pure and simple. We stayed here with some other friends ahead of a wedding over the Easter weekend. It's absolutely terrible. Reasons in no particular order: Dirty No hot water Rooms like prison cells Run down Smells funny/damp Cold Poor staff Shocking beds Felt like a squatter. Travelodge = never again

Stayed one night very tired looking building and rooms need a paint all round, Ok for the price paid but better hotels are available, just needed a stop over for one night. Needs a freshen up and a deep clean all round, nice pub in village good food and very friendly.

This place is disgusting, dirty floors, filthy showers that don't even work. When arriving at 11pm we were told that 6 rooms had flooded and they would need to relocate some of our party. What a dump! Dirt in corridor and rooms smell of onion which means there is a lot of mould. Wanted a shower, no hot water. Had to use an uncleaned room and then moved to another. We were contacted by Travelodge the morning that we were due to stay at the Travelodge in Southampton to say that the boiler had broken and would we re locate, we really wish we had not bothered and had accepted a refund. Functional room but with very tired-looking decor and settee. The bed, however, was dreadful; its (presumably) ancient mattress sagged in the middle requiring my wife and I to place our pillows in the centre in an attempt to achieve a semi-comfortable sleep. Very friendly staff on reception but that is unfortunately where the good things end. The reception and corridors are bland, the rooms are extremely dated with old kettles, tiny tv and not even a picture to brighten it up. Iv stayed in many Travelodges in the years but this bits biscuit, it was smelly damp very unpleasant would also get one of the cleaners on a people's training cause.. would spend a little more and stay some where else.
