Quiet, central location in leafy street in the heart of Winchester. In ten minutes you can be at the pedestrian precinct shops and market, or at the cathedral, or looking at Jane Austen's last accommodation, or watching the old water mill or eating in one of the city's good restaurants. In thirty minutes you can stroll along the water meadows... More

I spent two nights at the Cathedral Cottage , a gem within Winchester. The garden room was relaxing, charming and well equipped, set in the most beautiful surroundings with a wonderful walk to breakfast, which in itself set a scenery of grape vines and sun. The breakfast was divine, with an array of tantalising selections made the way I like.... More

I spent two nights at Cathedral cottage and it lived up to all the lovey remarks made in earlier revues, The garden room was a perfect place for a good night’s sleep away from the hurly-burly and it was a delight to walk through the garden in the morning to an excellent breakfast. Christine and Gareth were perfect hosts and... More

2 nights in this cosy Cottage at the end of the Garden, peaceful very central location. Lovely Breakfast (real Sausages and Bread). The Cathedral and the Town only just round the corner.

Quiet, peaceful, central location. Cosy cottage. Only complaint - bed against one wall making it awkward if you need to go to bathroom in middle of night.

We booked a night here after deciding a we'd like a night's stay in Winchester to attend an event at the city's Guildhall, even though we didn't live too far away (40 miles). Cathedral Cottage offers a very unique and pleasant stay, quiet too - just a stone's throw away from Winchester's High Street and backs onto the Cathedral. Everything... More

We spent two nights here and were looked after so well. Christine and Gareth took such good care of us. The room is actually a little house at the end of their garden which was a very novel idea. It is very cosy with all the usual mod-cons (TV, Fridge, Wi-Fi, Tea/Coffee facilities). The B&B is very centrally located and... More
