This Hotel is ideally situated for the center, the railway and St Marys football stadium, home of Southampton football club. The rooms are comfortable with TV (freeview) and tea/coffee facilities. Breakfast is good but on the expensive side at £7:50 but you can have as much as you like. more

My husband and I stayed at this Premier Inn for one night as we were going to a party in Southampton. We have stayed at a few Premier Inns before, but this was by far the best in terms of service. When we arrived we couldn't find a parking space (parking is limited, and we arrived at about 7pm) but... more

Stayed here for a 3 night business trip in August 2008. Much improved since my other review. The check in staff were very efficient and helpful. There was very little noise from the railway, even with a 1st floor room looking over it. The food was of a good quality and not too expensive. The breakfast was very good. Lots... more

Stayed here for two nights, convenient for city centre and Solent university. Staff were very friendly and helpful on all occasions. The room and bathroom were both a good size and clean with efficient air conditioning. There was a train track outside my room but the noise was not bothersome and with double glazing closed I was not woken up... more

Good points: Friendly staff, Clean, Comfortable bed, Nicely decorated rooms, Nice bathroom, Remarkably quiet given... more

We stayed here on 11th June 08 as we were seeing Bon Jovi at St. Marys and wanted reasonable hotel within walking distance to the stadium. This is exactly what we got. It is clean and basic but all you need for a comfortable night stay. There is a tv in the room, ensuite bathroom and tea and coffee making... more

This is an okay hotel. The location is quite good, and is an easy walk from the train station but, the reception was slow and not terribly helpful. My room on the first floor was also right next to a busy train track, which was loud and rumbling in the morning. If you need a place to crash the Premier... more
