Stayed overnight for a business trip. Normally stay at the Novotel in Southampton but due to a shipping exhibition the whole city was packed. Good things - the room was quite spacious and spotlessly clean. Bathroom too was a decent size. Staff were generally friendly. The room also had good aircon which was welcome on a hot night. Not-so-good things... More

Had a short but pleasant stay here. The location was good, the room was nice although a bit cold, the staff was helpful and as for the breakfast I would say A+. I was not that satisfied about the Internet connection, but overall I would say the hotel is very nice.

Whilst the central location has advantages, the inadequate parking spaces could be an issue. We returned late & could not park at the underground public car park - could not even get in to turn around and had to reverse out and leave the car in an open air park nearby. Our room was satisfactory, the staff helpful and the breafast reasonable.

Had a great stay here yet again. Finally they are a non-smoking hotel which for me makes so much difference. Breakfast is the best with an amzing variety of anything you could want..

I booked this room about 1 hour prior to visiting via a 3rd party website. There is parking close by, and it appears to be a lot cheaper than stated on the website if validated by the reception, though it is quite difficult to find, and underground, so a little dingy. The reception messed me around somewhat as they didn't... More

The hotel is easy to find . The hotel is in a middle of a roundabout and opposite a park. The roads can be busy and is ideally placed for the cruise terminals. Rooms are not luxurious but are clean and spacious with full facilities Flat screen tv etc. The reception is modern and staff friendly. The restaurant is modern decor... More

we stayed here in March the night before our cruise. The parking is is underground, but there is a very tiny slip road to unload your cases in before you go into the car park, the hotel is on a busy roundabout... the rooms were lovely, I have no complaints about them at all. The gentleman we saw on reception... More

To be honest we did not actually book to go here, it was booked through a third party, namely Holiday Extra's who we will never be using again, but that's another story !!! Arrived at the hotel, with our two children and apart from it being situated in the middle of an island in a busy road, from the outside... More

Stayed here admittedly for only one night prior to a cruise. . It is a very busy hotel, situated on an island with seriously busy main roads around it. Front desk was busy, but dealt well with the crowds. Room very clean, bathroom likewise. ATM in front hall which is handy, downstairs bar serves meals and has Sky. Breakfast was... More

We stayed here on a pre-cruise package. Very nice room and perfect location for centre of Southampton. Car park very difficult to find even with directions but other than that no complaints. Check in staff very helpful and overall excellent value. Would definitely stay here again.
