We stayed at this hotel for one night before we were leaving Southampton on a cruise. We were surprised that it was so far away from anything - the taxi from the train station was £14 and £15 to the cruise terminal the next day. I would definitely recommend this Holiday Inn. I don't normally like going away for business purposes but I felt very comfortable and looked after at this hotel. Check-in was a shambles. Booked 2 rooms/2 nights on-line. When we arrived only 1 room booked. Eventually sorted and rooms were spacious & clean. Breakfast choice rather limited with shortage of plates & cutlery on Sunday. Also NO orange juice!
