Lovely turn of the last century Manor House converted into hotel. Rooms were lovely and the various function rooms around the hotel make it an ideal place for both leisure and business. Breakfast was really good and the service brilliant, although check out time was a little too early at 9.30am. more

We booked a package spa relaxing weekend overnight package break. Spa and pool facilities were very modern and clean. Enjoyed the jacuzzi pool! :) The room was pleasant and the bed comfortable. The location and grounds are nice, but we were very disappointed with our stay. Apparently they have a "no under-18's" policy for the simming pool & fitness centre. The Club was clean & comfortable, the grounds were lovely, the hotel was an old county hotel so it would shopw signs of age but this all adds to the character of the place. This hotel is very old and needs an urgent updating. No Internet connection AT ALL ! ! ! Very, very uncomfortable room, bed, heating system, location and facility. Above all in the bathroom there was not an heating system (very tough to have a shower in the morning, the bathroom was too cold !). No air conditioning in the summer... more
