We stayed in room 304 AGAIN. The staff were really friendly, great sense of humour. Ate in the restaurant on Friday night and the food was really yummy. Breakfast was very good and the staff really friendly and helpful They had a band on Friday night and they were really good - so we danced the night away until the... more

I stayed at The Fountain Court Hotel, in January, with my Husband and our young son. Whilst there wasnt a lot for young children to do, our son had a wonderful time as the staff were all so friendly towards him. He was welcome in the bar area and in the restaurant. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated, the... more

If you read the other reviews, they give a fair description of how the place is like. If you don't smoke and are into health eating and like clean places THIS IS NOT a place for you. I was there because I had to work and it was not my choice. After that, I asked the work to stay somewhere... more

On arrival the place did not look too bad, but it was early evening and the light was fading. You walk into reception via a shabby dark hallway. We were given our key (room 306). As we opened the door we were greeted by the odour of what can only be described as a football changing room, the smell of... more

The most awful hotel on earth, the smell will stay with me forever. May be one of those places you have to stay to appreciate benidorm. more

Shabby chic it was not - just shabby. On opening the ground floor bedroom window had me reaching for my camera (not the kind of holiday snaps I anticipated). You had to see it too believe it, discarded bath, toilet, carpets where just a few of the items piled inches from the window. Also being near the hotels bin area... more

I have just spent two nights in what is possibly the most shabby, sordid hotel in the UK. On arrival, the place looked pretty awful - not jaded oppulence, but plain run down: Flaking paint, cracked windows, worn carpets, tatty decorations - you get the picture. The welcome didn't improve my first impressions. Jabba the Hut behind reception wheezed and... more

This is by far the greatest hotel I ever stayed in! I have travelled to many a hotel and beleive me, I have seen both ends of the scale. I have stayed at hotels in Edinburugh, Liverpool, Manchester, London and many other places, and after careful, consideration I reccomend the Fountain Court Hotel over any other in the United Kingdom.... more
