I have just spent two nights in what is possibly the most shabby, sordid hotel in the UK. This is by far the greatest hotel I ever stayed in! I have travelled to many a hotel and beleive me, I have seen both ends of the scale. I have stayed at hotels in Edinburugh, Liverpool, Manchester, London and many other places, and after careful, consideration I reccomend the Fountain Court Hotel over any other in the United Kingdom.... more

We made a group booking of 5 rooms. Whilst the food was of a good standard - no complaints there, the standard of the rooms was dated, and what can only be stated as "grubby" i.e., grime around the baths, toothpaste smeared on the mirrors etc. This has the potential to be a good hotel - it just needs major... more

Just got back from the FountainCourt - enjoyed my fourth Easter visit. The hotel staff are so friendly and stayed in the bridal suite this time - the room was really lovely - really comfy four poster bed - pity we didnt get time to use the whirl pool bath but perhaps next time. Came to the Fountain Court Hotel for a wedding, it was fantastic. I 'visted' the Fountain Court hotel whilst I was working in the area. To which I greatly regret! I never thought that the inside of my car would be more welcoming to me than the inside of that rundown, ill managed, dirty hotel.
