My partner and i stayed for two nghts on the breakfast and evening dinner deal. I read the mixed reviews and was a little worried on how we would find the hotel and facilities. We are not demanding guests expecting 5 stars for 1 star prices, but here is our take on the Hotel: Price wise, the hotel has more... more

Hey ho you can't win them all! I am sorry if #45 per person per night for a double en suite room, with a complimentary bottle of wine and box of chocolates in the room on arrival, three course dinner, full breakfast and use of an indoor swimming pool etc is thought to be expensive. Our many, well travelled, regular...

Excellent location for exploring the surrounding area. There is a great Italian restaurant within walking distance which served lovely food and wine . It was ideal for all the family. The play equipment outside kept our 6 and 3 year olds happy! We stayed in the appartment which was fine, but quite noisy at night as it was right next... more

Although we cannot reply to you personally, the hotel does not supply 100w light bulbs as was requested for your two night self catering break at 22.66 per person per night. With regard to your comments about staff here is a quote from Mr and Mrs Rodemark who stayed here just before you and thought they had lost a large...

We'd booked the Knightwood Lodge because we wanted to come to the New Forest with my wife's parents and her sister's family. We needed somewhere our two young nephews and our dog would all be welcome. After having booked the apartment and a room in the main building, we found the reviews on Trip Advisor and panicked. The reason for... more

We stayed at this hotel last month - I dont get what some people expect - we found the place to be great value for money, especially with the indoor pool. We stayed three nights and were given a bottle of champagne on the offer we took up. more

Had a very nice welcome. Room was ok-ish; decor a bit dated, but if you're going to spend most of the time asleep, then never mind. The room had a good shower. The main downer was that it's right on the main road, so unless you're a heavy sleeper you can't have the window open, so you get quite warm... more

At £100 for a nights B&B we were expecting a lot more than a small dark room with ancient decor. The internet pictures definately did not reflect reality. The whole place was tired and in need of redecoration. On the plus side the property was in a lovely location, across the road from the new forest. The breakfast was ample,... more

we stayed at the Knightwood lodge hotel last march 2005 for 2 nights and enjoyed our stay very much, our daughter loved the pool as it was only us using it, the only thing that put me off the 1st time was just the fact that the changing area for the pool was freezing no warmth at all. there is... more

The place was awful. My family and I stayed their for a weekend to see a couple of family members. We went on a search engine and clicked on knightwood lodge. it seemed lovely and the pictures of the hotel did look very good. When it came to arriving at the hotel (if that is what you would like to... more
