They are very particular about paying up front. Food excellent but on the slightly high side. Beer very expensive. Some rooms very noisy from the main road. 'Quiet' rooms are extra. Rooms are clean and in generally good condition. TV's are very old and small. Generous tea and coffee, only hand soap in bathroom (bring your own shower gel.) Stayed... more

My wife and I booked into this hotel 'scenic revierside' etc which does not have a view of the river Hamble and is, in fact, situated on a busy main road opposite Moody's boat yard.
