We stopped 1 night as our 19 yr old daughter was in Southampton for an interview for the cruise liners. It was easy to find, had ample parking, and a reasonably good location within a good walk of the town centre. I stayed for 4 nights and was treated to a warm and friendly atmosphere. Jim and Josie made me feel at home. My room was perfect for my needs, a hearty breakfast went down a treat to. Highly recommended. Keep up the excellent work:) more

We only stayed for one night here, but found the hospitality by the owner fantastic. A very warm welcome, good breakfast and good value for money. Room was small with very small bathroom and typical English decor, but did the job with a good night quiet sleep and very clean. more

We have stayed there many times in Hunters Lodge in 2007 and 2008. It was the first choice for me and my collegues when we travelled to Southampton. Our 3-night stay here prior to a Princess cruise was wonderful. The Deans are really great people, and we were most welcome and comfortable in their B&B. Location was tops, and they do a really great breakfast. Rooms were very nicely laid out, and we would certainly stay there anytime we are in the area. more
