We only stayed the one night but the room was very clean and sunny. The bathroom had high quality toiletries and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and gave us a good overview of our dinner options around Portsmouth. The breakfast had a very good range. Poached eggs, tomatoes and mushrooms were excellent. I would definitely stay... More

We stayed for one day last week (start of August 14) as a brief much needed break from London. The hotel is lovely and our room on the ground floor had a nice little patio garden, with a separate bedroom and lounge. Our room (11) was right behind the bar, but it was quiet and as there was a double... More

We stayed at Number Four last summer for a few days, it was lovely. A very sweet young lady greeted us and brought us drinks in the lounge (which is very elegantly decorated) upon our arrival. It's in a great location and only a few minutes walk from Canoe Lake. Number Four Boutique Hotel is a very cost effective, comfortable... More

Booked to stay for one night. Never been to a boutique hotel before but would definitely go back ! Booked double room and one single for me and my parents. Absolutely fantastic experience. Double room number 8 and single room room 5. Single was small but did not feel claustrophobic or cramped and big windows let in lots of light.... More

The room (No. 6) and breakfast both excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't have a car with us, but there didn't seem to be any problem with parking. A short taxi ride from Fratton station to the hotel. We caught a bus (stops outside the hotel) to the Naval Dockyard. The weather was glorious and we walked back... More

We booked this hotel for the night before our son's graduation. I had researched carefully on the internet and it was every bit as good as I was expecting. We were greeted by a delightful young lady, Anna, who truly made us feel welcome. The room was well appointed with quite trendy fixtures and fittings and a fun double shower.... More

This hotel is along a road where you would not expect to find a boutique hotel but there it is. Lovely lounge where we had drinks on arrival and eventually all of our friends gathered. We had the whole hotel booked - 12 room for a party. Trendy rooms - some small, some large but all very nice. Good little... More

We stayed 1 night. The room was spacious, even with 2 children of 12 and 16. The bathroom was comfortable and clean with a modern look. Breakfast was very good. The staff was very friendly and helpfull.

We stayed for 1 night in July 2014. The hotel was in an excellent location with a bus stop outside. It takes around 15 minutes on the bus to the marina on you can continue on to the historic shipyard. Our room was spacious and furnished to a very high standard. The hotel has a small car park, but there... More

This was a 1 night stop over as we were visiting friends. We had a small double room which was compact, but absolutely stunning. It had modern décor and the fixtures and fittings were quality. A wonderful welcome and the breakfast was very tasty and the staff were efficient and polite. Off road parking is always a bonus. The gardens... More
