Hotel was up to the usual Premier Inn standard, rooms more spacious than others we have stayed in, small bar but the food was pretty lame, 3 steaks ordered , 1 very well done and 2 medium rare, all well done, 4 desserts, the ice cream (easiest dessert ) arrived 10 minutes after everyone had finshed despite asking twice. Breakfast,... More

Accompanied husband for first 2 nights of his 10 day sailing course. Arrived by train and taxi so didn't have to use car park but noticed that it would have been more than adequate. Quick, efficient and warm welcome. Booked taxis for us to go back into the marina for dinner or over to Portsmouth for me to fill in... More

We had a totally satisfactory one night stay in what is obviously a new /refurbished Premier Inn. The receptionist was quick and helpful, the rooms were vast and the bed/ bedding was of a quality that other "higher class" Hotels would even strive for,, really nice. Bathroom was clean and spacious and everywhere modern and tidy. The bar was typical... More

Had a long weekend away in Portsmouth, staying at the Premier Inn Port Solent. Even if I say it myself. I think I made an excellent choice. Booked earlier in the year so got a good deal. The hotel reception staff were very welcoming. We stayed on the third floor in a front room and the view wasn't stunning but... More

There are two Premier Inns next door to each other. This is the new one and there couldn't be more of a difference between the two. We are regular visitors and have stayed in both. This one is excellent. The other is just tired and in need of refurbishment. The rooms in this inn are large and comfortable. Fairly standard... More

Enjoyed a 2night stay in one of the family rooms, large comfortable room, very clean, huge double a single and a low bed/mattress. Massive shower free wifi for 30 mins then £3:00 for 24 hrs, very reasonable. Breakfast was extra at £7.99 but kids ate free so worked out cheap and there was a great selection.

We stayed at the Premier in Binnacle Way Portsmouth. On arrival the check in was efficent and the staff welcoming and polite. Our family room was clean and comfortable and we had three good nights sleep. The buffet breakfast was well laid out and the choice of traditional and cereal catered for all. Good road links provide easy access to... More

I stayed at this hotel with a group of our friends for a cheap overnight stay before our ferry to the Isle Of Wight. I cannot express how impressed I was with the service of the staff at this hotel. I have stayed in 5 star hotels that have not offered this level of service. The check in was speedy... More

Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel and rooms in excellent condition, although not too sure about the sink outside the bathroom layout in this Premier. Breakfasts good, as in all Premier Inns. Huge Tesco store nearby with Krispy Kreme doughnut cafe. Pizza Hut just outside hotel and KFC nearby.

I used this hotel for 3 nights. I made my booking through their website and the details at checkin were exactly as booked including the added breakfast extra. Plenty of parking (free). If you use a SATNAV to get here - the space is sometimes identified as a Tulip Inn. But the postcode takes you right there. Room - v... More
