Holiday Inn's tend to morph in to one another and finding distinctive points of difference is difficult. The Holiday Inn Portsmouth does what it says on the tin. Bedrooms are as you would expect, smallish and functional with the flat screen LG tv the highlight. Bathrooms are, well, bathrooms. Again no problems, just no wow factor.and just a little dated.... The hotel itself was nice enough. The room wasn't cramped and the facilities and breakfast were all satisfactory. The location is also convenient for Southsea or Gunwharf. WiFi access costs £5 per hour and you have to use the whole hour at once. If you need regular Internet access as I did, avoid.
