Stayed here while I was working in Portsmouth as it was very local. Whilst the hotel is similar to that of a Britannia hotel - ie dated - probably a luxury in the 80's. I think I'd have been happier if I hadn't paid the best part of sixty quid to stay. The net curtains were dirty - see attached... More

On arrival, it looks very nice from the outside, 15 minutes from Portsmouth harbour, where we were during the day. Greeted by a polite lady at the front desk. Room was okay, exactly what would be expected for the money. Could do with a lick of paint and a spring clean but all in all not too bad! :)

I would not recommend The Innlodge and I won't be staying again. It is in desperate need of refurbishment. In the meantime a warm damp cloth, elbow grease, a good wipe over and a decent carpet cleaner would make the world of difference. I have given one star for the receptionist who was very welcoming on check in and one... More

We ate here new years day and were thoroughly dissapointed service was slow and the food was of poor quality. Seemed to be massively understaffed. Was our first visit and will be our last! but then I guess you get what you pay for!

It was ok - as expected for the price. Reception staff were helpful and polite. Our room was ok, clean and adequate. Not in the best state of repair - but did the job. Breakfast was pretty poor ..... Better off going down the road to the harvester which we did on the second morning.

this hotel is fine for one night. The location was great for us as near family, the room itself was fine, roomy and very comfortable beds. We stayed in the disabled room, as husband on crutches, and was very near reception. However the bathroom was very tired and grubby looking and really could do with being ripped out and refurbished.... More

My friends and I stayed here as part of a Christmas shopping trip so didn't want to spend a lot on accommodation and it was definitely worth the money. We asked for quiet rooms and both were well away from the Reception and Lounge areas so we all had a really good night's sleep. The rooms were spacious, with comfortable... More

Just returned from a one night stay. First impressions were negative as the reception lady did not make us feel welcome. Our room was good considering we paid £65 which included breakfast. We used there restaurant (hungry horse) for a quick bite to eat but we were surprised that we had to wait 45 minutes for a hamburger, especially when... More

I stayed here for a last minute business meeting and this was the most convenient hotel in my budget. It has to be said that the hotel is tired in places, the door in my bathroom for example had damage to the bottom from water and years of use, and the painted over wallpaper had started to peel. The radiators... More

The was the first time we had stayed in Portsmouth and chose this hotel over Ibis. Was glad that we did. From the we walked through the door we were treated as valued guests. The room was warm and welcoming. Unlike many hotels the heating was already on which was very much appreciated as it was cold outside. The whole... More
