The was the first time we had stayed in Portsmouth and chose this hotel over Ibis. Was glad that we did. From the we walked through the door we were treated as valued guests. The room was warm and welcoming. Unlike many hotels the heating was already on which was very much appreciated as it was cold outside. The whole... More

I have stayed at this hotel many times, as a frequent visitor to Portsmouth. In my opinion these poor reviews are undeserved. It is often hard to get any decent priced hotel in Portsmouth, especially in the summer or when there are events, and I have stayed in some really horrid b&b's which often charge the same price. I have... More

Busy Saturday lunchtime and the food took a while, but an acceptable time. Mixed grill cooked as I wanted it, and good quality meat, especially for the price. BUT, all my food incuding the chips were lukewarm at best. I didn't send it back as it was very busy and I would have had to wait again. Interesting that the... More

We recently travelled down to Portsmouth while meeting up with a relative at university. I fear a lot of the reviews here are simply expecting too much, we paid £70 for an executive room, this was one of the cheapest in Portsmouth. I do a lot of travelling and you certainly get what you pay for. The room was spacious... More

Having sold our house we needed a hotel to stay before our retirement to Malta so we booked a room at the inn lodge Portsmouth,we stayed for two weeks during a very busy period and they were very helpful in fitting us in. The staff were brilliant, they looked after us like a 5 star hotel, They arranged a family... More

The sheets were clean and the water pressure was extreme and was hot however this place leaves a lot to be desired.....the front end clerk was friendly but there is a reason that the rates are as low as they are......the entire establishment is in serious need of upgrades down to the peeling wallpaper in the room........would not recommend this... We stayed overnight at this hotel as we had an event to attend the following morning in Portsmouth, so choice was convenience rather than anything else. On arrival the huge car park was jammed packed and loud music playing. We had a friendly greeting from the receptionist who informed us there were two weddings and another event going on. Slightly... I booked this hotel in order to travel by ferry the next morning to France. It was the cheapest available from a long list ranging from £65 (what I paid) to upward of £200. Not exactly ideally placed for the ferry port as it was a £10 taxi ride but I have to say it is a pleasant experience to... More

The hotel didn't look too bad when booking on Laterooms and we wanted a cheap place to stay whilst visiting the sights which Portsmouth has to offer. Upon arrival the hotel the receptionist was efficient and booked us in quickly, we then went to the room and found that the windows didn't close properly which meant there was a draft... More

Oh my gosh what a very bad hotel. Of all the hotels ive stayed in the uk, this has got to be the worst. We arrived on Thursday 25th September around 14:50 pm, hotel didn't look to bad. Got directions to our room and was told breakfast was 6:30 - 10. So went to the room & it was a... More
