My sister, mother, grandmother and me occupied two rooms in Premiere Inn's Horndean location for a few days while visiting some nearby relatives down the street. My first impression was that the hotel is like a slightly more upscale version of the dorm-like Ibis hotel (i.e. not much in the way of amenities, the walls are a bit thicker than a typical Ibis).
There are 25 rooms in the hotel on three floors. No elevator for passengers, but they can send up heavy luggage via a luggage lift. No phones in the rooms. There is WiFi access to the Internet, available at £10 for one day or £20 for one week.
Big dispensers of "shower gel/shampoo" in the shower and "soap" next to the sink. No toilet paper rolls (just sheets of t.p. in yet another dispenser), which I hadn't seen in English hotels up to this point.
Breakfast is served at the Red Lion restaurant a few steps away from the hotel, reachable via an easy walk down the driveway or...
