The Ibis..... Budget priced hotel that has got everything you need . Stayed for three nights in August. Room was small but adequate, bed was comfortable. Bathroom was tiny... More like a cupboard! Good choice at breakfast and plenty of it. Wouldn't like to have stayed any longer but ideal for short city break as all we really needed was... More

Stayed here for 1 night while visiting family. Myself and my 2 teenage daughters had a lovely room which was very clean and tidy and had just what we needed for our stay, check in was easy and the staff were very friendly. It has some parking spaces but we parked over in b&q car park as we got back... More

Music blasting out, girls screaming, lads being loud, knocking on doors and running up and down the corridors as well as smoking in a non smoking hotel. Despite this being heard at reception it took 3 complaints from myself before "security" came. Their solution was me and my son moved rooms so we could sleep... This was at 11.45 p.m.... More

My boyfriend stayed here for one night and i was so glad it was only one night Although this is a budget hotel and you dont expect any frills i would of liked to see more than one very flat pillow and thin duvet on the bed and toilet roll that was not like tracing paper The bed was so... More

I've never stayed in an Ibis Budget before. Or Portsmouth. So was pleasantly surprised by both. Portsmouth is a lot nicer than I thought and I'm sure there is plenty to do their if you fancy a couple of days naval gazing. (See what I did there!) I was only there to catch the ferry the next day so didn't... More

Spotlessly clean budget hotel with car parking. Ideal for footy fans as next door to Portsmouth FC. Plenty of food places nearby and close to historic dockyard. Good value continental breakfast if needed. Sandwiches can be purchased 24hrs a day. .

I booked two rooms for one night prior to going on the ferry. The reason they got my booking, was because Travelodge had previously given my pre booked disabled room away, and Ibis promised me that this would not happen in their hotel. I see from another report that this can and does happen. We personally loved the beds, very... More

We had booked three rooms at the hotel so that the family could attend the Committal of Dad's ashes to the sea by the Royal Navy off Spit Head. We had booked for three rooms together - one was specifically to be a disabled access room. We arrived at the hotel a little after 7pm to be told that the... More

We stayed one night at this hotel after coming off the ferry from France. It was not that easy to find. Free parking was available in the B&Q car park over the road. The room was basic but fine for a 1 night stay. We did not have breakfast at the hotel but ate at McDonald's over the road. We... More

This is really the pits. The mattress was so hard I ached all over in the morning as did my friend who was in another room. Being a budget hotel doesn't mean that you can use a 3 inch thick mattress, have no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, charge £1.50 for a cup of coffee from a... More
