I stayed here for one night in a triple room with friends after a mini cruise from Portsmuth. The rooms are clean and spacious the staff friendly, and what a fantastic breakfast in the morning for just £4.00, full english with fruite juice, tea/coffee. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. more

Sink too small to be able to fill kettle. and only sink was hand basin in bathroom. Bathroom wasn't big enough to swing a mouse let alone a cat. Iffy lock on door. No drawers or cupboard to put clothes except a coat rack and one clothes hanger, so had to stay in bag. Cleaning cupboard in my room. Smoking... more

We stayed here after a mini cruise, it was a really lovely, the room was like a studio flat, there was flat screen TV on the wall, little kitchen area and lovely bathroom. It was the best nights sleep I had over the whole break and well worth a mere £50 more

We stayed for the weekend which was cut short due to the awful weather. The Duke of Buckingham is in a first class position in the old town close to the cathedral and Southsea.
