We stayed at the Royal Maritime Club while attending a 60th Anniversary do also hosted at the club. The room was quite dirty, with dust everywhere. The en suite bathroom smelt of urine. What a disappointment! This hotel had only 11 parking places for 400 rooms. The staff were ok and recommended we use the car park across the road for £4 but it had closed early so we had to park a fair distance away for £10. The Maritime Club is in a brilliant location near the Historic Dockyard in Portsmouth. Having travelled there for a family wedding, it was ideal in terms of location for us.
