We stayed here for one night on our Cotswold Way walk. The pub has lots of Character and a nice atmosphere but is in need in some TLC with ther rooms being a littler tired. The food us good and the sausage menu is with trying. The card machine was out of use so it was cash only. It was... More

Evening meal and breakfast were good but the rooms were poor. The room our friends stayed in was better than ours. When I complained I was told that is why we were paying a lower price, but this didn't compensate for the poor quality room. It needed updating in all respects. Location is good, right in the centre of Winchombe

The food, service and rooms are very good but it seems the building is either under transition or in need of extensive decoration. There are holes in the wall from previous fixings, recent ceiling and wall plaster, extensive rust marks on the fire escape, the bedroom carpet is quite old and there are holes in the wood floor in the... We arrived at the White Hart Inn with a previous booking and were shown to a room with peeling paint and filthy windows, badly in need of refurbishment. The food was overpriced and mediocre. A big disappointment overall.

Friendly with good service, good shared bathroom, great breakfasts. Good basic accommodation if you need a place to crash out. No frills but more affordable than other local options and close to path for cotswolds way. Good view from ramblers room.

We walked 12 miles on the Costswold Way arriving wet from the rain to a welcoming, well situated Inn, with wall heaters to dry our clothes and a great bath tub. After resting, we went downstairs to a terrific neighborly pub and had a extremely well prepared dinner. The breakfast was great too. Winchcombe is a lovely town with nice... More

Walking in the Cotswolds and we were booked in as part of a package. The bar was typical old pub, with ;lots of eating areas, including large outside area. We had the cheeses with drinks and really very little for the ten pounds but the beer was good and staff friendly. Room was very old but well presented and clean,... More

We had booked a B&B with the same name as another, and found ourselves very late one afternoon after a long road trip at the wrong B&B in Stanton, Cotwolds. The owner thought she had double booked us and promptly went about calling as many local places as she could to find us a bed for the night. "You'll be... More

Booked in here this week after looking it up on late rooms. I cannot fault the front of house staff as they are all warm friendly and helpful. The food both at dinner and breakfast was excellent. I appreciate this is a very old building and with it comes little sound insulation so there is traffic noise from outside and... More

I stayed here for 2 nights while on a walking tour of the Cotswolds. Winchcombe is a darling village and this Inn is right smack in the centre of it. The staff were courteous and friendly although not overly warm or helpful. The Inn and the rooms are very old and show their age but as others have written this... More
