Went into the WH for about the 6th time, and was dismayed to see a large TV showing football in the dining area of the bar. There is a small dining area off there as well, but many diners like, or did like the area in the bar. After about an hour the manager turned down the sound but not... More

We arrived on Friday with a couple of old friends, we were very impressed with our rooms very clean and comfortable, cannot understand all the other negative reviews. We ate in the hotel food and service were excellent, wine very reasonably priced. Breakfast again was excellent as was the service, love that it is all freshly cooked and you can... More

This was a pleasant stay and service were friendly. The car park was out of bounds due building work which was inconvenient for the type of location the place is situated in. The room is modern and clean, also slightly dusty leaving a funny smell. The rooms have a SHARED BATHROOM which wasn't mentioned when we booked the room which... More

We were booked at White Hart for one night as part of a walking trip through the Cotswold villages. The room had tattered carpeting, large water stains around the windows, ripped wallpaper, and a bathroom shower with a broken door. The floor had not been vacuumed. Bedding and towels were clean. We did not eat in the White Hart pub,... More

Emphasis on "old," but that's part of its charm - the inn does date from the 16th century and you can see and feel it. We stayed in room #5 which another reviewer claimed was awful, but we thought it was fine. The bed was comfortable, there was a nice view of the high street, and the bathroom had been... More

The food at this pub is excellent, however the rooms are quite old and could do with being refurbished. The dinner we had there was very nice, we ordered steaks which had very good flour, and then we had desserts which all very well presented and tasty.

Stayed here with two mates walking the Cotswold Way. Smart pub and restaurant with young and friendly staff. We stayed in a triple room which was spacious, clean and fresh. Had a great bath after an 18 Mike walk from Chipping Camden. Breakfast was good with fresh ground coded and they specialise in sausages. My veggie pal said his breakfast... More

We loved the White Hart. The only negative we can think of was they would not let us check in until 3- wouldn't even check if our room was ready, but they did keep our bags. They put our suitcases in our room without asking, and what a beautiful room it was! Very spacious with windows on two sides, quiet... More

We stayed for a week in September. The Inn is nice and clean - but dated. Could definitely use an update in décor and bathroom/shower facilities. Used quite a bit by Cotswold Trekkers it is more suited to inexpensive one nights than week long stays. The pub and restaurant was excellent. Some of the best food available in Winchombe I... More

I might stay here again - but the hotel could raise it's game. We arrived at the end of a hard day's cycling and were shown to our room which looked pretty decent. Having unpacked a shower was in order - unfortunately there was no hot water. The receptionist said he'd restart the boiler and we should have hot water... More
