We stayed in a triple room which cost a very reasonable £95 for b&b. We arrived late Friday night to find a packed out friendly bar and enjoyed a couple of drinks before bed. The room was ok. Warm and clean but the bathroom was a little basic.....with everyone's favourite, a macerator toilet. We all slept well and breakfast was... More

We booked a DBB and cream tea offer through Travelzoo and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this quaint Cotswold inn in the picturesque village of Winchcombe, but with modern amenities and comfort. All the staff were friendly and efficient; the room was comfortable, with a firm bed and quality bedding and a bathroom that contained that rarity - a decent-sized... More

Booked on TravelZoo - £89 for one night in a superior room including afternoon tea, 3 course A La Carte and breakfast. Overall this was a great place to stay - Traditional, quaint, very charismatic and with fires in ever room making it cozy at this cold time of year. Bar staff friendly and accommodating and rooms were roomy and... More

We wanted a night away and took a chance with travel zoo on this inn. Loved it. 16th century in a lovely town, a knight in armour on the landing. Clean, neat and comfortable. Log fires in the bar and restaurant. Food just as described..homely, plentiful and delicious.

We stayed for one night in a very creaky but comfortable warm old room in a very quaint traditional Cotswold inn that had all the facilities that one would expect. We ate in the bar and the meal was very very good. My self and my girlfriend had scallops and black pudding to start followed by sea bass for my... More

We stayed at the White Hart for three nights over New Year. Our room was fine. Will need a face lift in next year or so but no complaints. The Inn is full of nooks, crannies and old stone. We loved it. Gareth and his team were all friendly and helpful. The food was exceptional In the restaraunt and breakfast... More

Having read many good things about the 'Wine and Sausage' pub we were looking forward to a meal here only to find out that sausages were off the menu. The meals we had were ok but nothing out of the ordinary and a little overpriced. The wine however was very good.

Very reasonable priced room including cooked breakfast. Lowest price I have paid in along time for b&b. Nice room with on suite, tea and coffee, small TV. Some road noise but didn't disturb my sleep as I was on the third floor. Another pub opposite and a few shops to explore, I good base for walkers.

Stayed here for a night just before Xmas. Room was lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful. The food was terrific and in general the place had a great atmosphere. We had a little walk around the village during the day and planned on eating out and finding somewhere to drink. As it happened though we were so impressed by this... More

Once the scaffolding is off this pub will be a very attractive place. Inside the décor is shabby chic minimal, was the peeling paint deliberate in the bar where we had a delicious breakfast? Lots of bare boards and stripped wood. We were happy with the room and bathroom, both were well equipped, decent towels, hot water, all we needed.... More
