We got drenched walking the Cotswolds Way, and could not have received a nicer welcome when we arrived at Wesley House. The rooms are all up a steep staircase and are cosy and clean, with a range of layouts. We had a double with teeny bathroom and a twin with giant bathroom. Great quality bed linen and nice touches like... More

We stayed in January 2016 on a 'bargain break. This was excellent value for money. The hotel is best described as 'quaint' given the building's historic origins. We found it to be comfortable and spotlessly clean. The food is to a high standard and the staff are both cheerful and helpful. There is no hotel specific parking; but we found... More

Small quirky hotel full of character. Beautiful Christmas decorations and very friendly staff team. Great breakfasts and interesting gin selection. Only slight downside- rooms very small, but comfortable. No parking so have to find parking space.

We were really looking forward to celebrating New Years Day at Wesley House - one of our local family favourites. This visit was unfortunately rather disappointing. The food was rather bland, not anywhere near the usual high standards - in particular the Guinea fowl which was completely tasteless and the beef which was extremely dry. For dessert we ordered two... More

Went with the whole of my family for Christmas Lunch, and it was fabulous, service was professional and friendly. Food was outstanding!! No faults. The atmosphere was great also which I find to be a massive factor when picking a good restaurant for any occasion! Really recommend.

Wesley House understands hospitality. Great quality ingredients cooked and presented well. Superb service. Lovely ambience and atmosphere. Highly enjoyable. I will be returning and wouldn't hesitate to bring guests for such a quality experience.

My husband and I visited Wesley House on a wet and windy Saturday in November - the hotel is full of old world charm and our room was warm and cosy - the perfect antidote to the elements outside. The staff are friendly and professional and the food outstanding. We have visited Wesley House on several occasions and it has... More

My partner and I stayed at Wesley House last Saturday on the dinner, bed & breakfast rate as we were racing at Cheltenham. The staff were extremely welcoming and very efficient, the room was small but very comfortable, good bed linen, very clean etc. Our dinner was excellent, plenty of choice, my partners lamb superb and my pheasant was the... We spent two nights at the Wesley House in late September. Winchcombe is charming. Wesley House is certainly updated from its 15th century origins in terms of its restaurant and bar, but the guest room we had certainly retains 15th century charm with half-timbers, sloping floor, and narrow winding stairway. Best of all was the hospitality of staff and Manager,... More

We ate at Wesley House Restaurant on a Saturday Night in August and we had a most delicious meal. The staff were friendly and the Food was very nice ( small portion size) but nice. We then ate in the Bistro Bar Restaurant also in Wesley House and we found it very expensive and the Food only medium and the... More

Thank you for taking the time to review us and dine with us twice. I will look into how the same kitchen and the staff who work in both restaurants can differ so much! More
