My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Blair House over the May bank holiday as part of our hiking trip - Sarah and Ian were just fabulous. The perfect hosts. They made us feel welcome and comfortable from the minute they opened the door! It was like staying with long-lost friends. That, coupled with the excellent... More

We arrived and twice had to find the host to give us towels and soap. etc. Multi-leveled layout, half doors marked private. Our room was just jammed with useless furniture, i.e. a wardrobe that was too small for the hangers, blocked anyway by the tea tray, small worn out couch beside a wicker chair, kidney shaped dressing table beside a... Dear Cathy Many thanks for your feedback. Please find below our responses to your comments. Blair House is a Georgian house (built around 1850) with plenty of English character and charm. We aim to provide a quality experience for our guests and furnish accordingly. The cupboard and chest of drawers in your bedroom are antique pine, for example. We pride... More

Contrary to other ecstatic reviews of Blair House, I found it one of the least special of the 10 B and B's or hotels I stayed in during my hike of the Cotswold Way. My room on the ground floor was small with a comfortable queen-sized bed; the ensuite bathroom was also small with a toilet, sink and shower. The... More

A wonderful stay. Ian and Sarah make you feel at home the moment you walk in the door. Delicious breakfasts with many choices. Ian showed us his beautiful garden and Sarah chatted with us about the area and their home. One of the most comfortable beds we had during our 3 weeks in the UK. Blair House is within 5... More

I was hiking the Cothswold Way hike (102 mile walk from Chipping Campden to Bath) with 4 friends and we were lucky enought to spend a night at the Blair House along our journey. I found the host was xcellent, we had a very quiet sleep and the breakfast choices were fantastic. I loved the warm family atmosphere.

Blair House was our resting spot for three perfect nights in Winchcombe. Sarah and Ian make you feel so welcomed when they greet you, chat a bit, let you meet the animals, make breakfast, etc. I even needed to see a doctor while there and Sarah immediately made phone calls to make it happen... very helpful to an international visitor... Blair House is a 5 min walk into Winchombe. The house is a beautifully decorated old house that has style and grace. The room I stayed in overlooked the garden and was light and had period features throughout. The paintings on the wall were stunning and really gave a sense of lightness to the room. Although it was a shared... More

Lovely welcoming hosts. The bathroom was downstairs but we didnt hear anyone above us whcih was good. The bathroom is very pretty in a converted consertatory type of thing and very snug and warm. Breakfast try their special as it is a nice change to the massive english breakfast.

My friend and I stayed for one night as part of a walking weekend. The hosts were delightful, very welcoming and friendly. We stayed in the en-suite bedroom on the ground floor which was a lovely, spacious room with everything you could need. We are animal lovers so enjoyed having pets around (particularly Henry!!) but can understand that this may... More

My mother and I stayed here for two nights before my start of term at Oxford and had a lovely time! The room was very tidy and the house quite well kept. The hosts, Ian and Sarah, were very friendly and accommodating (even when we spilled coffee twice)! The breakfast was delicious and the wi-fi worked well. Price-wise it was... More
