Good room, friendly and very trusting hosts, lovely dining room, great location. Breakfast was very nice and plentiful, which included butcher's sausages which suggests previous feedback has been heeded.

I have to be honest here and say that we felt decidedly unwelcombed at Blair House. We thought the scrambled egg (special ) didn't sound very special so we opted for the full English, but had the temerity to ask for two eggs which was met with expressed disbelief. We were duly rewarded by having them cooked solid. I didn't think... More

Sarah and Ian are rightfully proud of their home. We felt welcome even though we arrived before the official check-in time. Sarah's "special" breakfast was indeed special. Clean en-suite, friendly hosts, quiet location all add up to comfortable stay for our one-night stop along the Cotswold Way.

We stayed over for one night during a Cotswold walking holiday. The house is very easy to find - being about 400 metres from the Tourist Information Centre. The room we had was very comfortable and we enjoyed the breakfast.

Lovely, welcoming owners. Immaculate house, calm and quiet. Even the dogs don't bark! Easily found, very convenient being only a short walk from the library. Lovely breakfast of freshly scrambled eggs and mushrooms, bacon and fresh tomato. Just go there you will be happy you did.

We stayed at Blair House whilst we visited my son ,daughter in law and new Grandson? A lovely B&b . It is really homely and clean. I recommend the ground floor room . comfy bed and clean en-suite. Close to Cheltenham racecourse and in a lovely town. The owners are so nice and friendly. A must stay. We will make... More

We spent one night here, I'm struggling to find words really, the landlady shared her life-story with us before giving her opinion that Americans are thick and announcing that breakfast was at 8.30, as she was having her hair done the next morning. We reluctantly accepted this timing, and during breakfast- which was adequate- were enjoying the company of the... More

We spent the night there after hiking the Warden's Way from Bourton-on-the-Water. It was not difficult to find and we were warmly greeted by our hosts. I have had the pleasure of staying in a host of B&Bs in Britain and Ireland over the years, and have rarely been disappointed. These fine folks at Blair House were helpful, attentive and... More

My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Blair House over the May bank holiday as part of our hiking trip - Sarah and Ian were just fabulous. The perfect hosts. They made us feel welcome and comfortable from the minute they opened the door! It was like staying with long-lost friends. That, coupled with the excellent... More

We arrived and twice had to find the host to give us towels and soap. etc. Multi-leveled layout, half doors marked private. Our room was just jammed with useless furniture, i.e. a wardrobe that was too small for the hangers, blocked anyway by the tea tray, small worn out couch beside a wicker chair, kidney shaped dressing table beside a... Dear Cathy Many thanks for your feedback. Please find below our responses to your comments. Blair House is a Georgian house (built around 1850) with plenty of English character and charm. We aim to provide a quality experience for our guests and furnish accordingly. The cupboard and chest of drawers in your bedroom are antique pine, for example. We pride... More
