Lovely welcome from a lovely gentleman to his beautiful Cotswold farmhouse, David Earby shared his home and stories of his life and family in equal quantities, making our stay, one to be remembered. We would go back in a hearbeat

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a few days just after new year. David is such a lovely man and very accommodating. The room was large, warm and comfortable, and breakfast delicious. We were looking for some places to visit and David gave us a huge map where he listed the best sites. The bnb is in a good... More

Just got back from a relaxing overnight stay at this wonderful B and B. David, our host, had been very accommodating when we had to postpone an earlier booking. We are so glad we were able to rebook. He is a charming host and made us feel so welcome, especially with our somewhat muddy and very nosy dog. The room... More

We stayed there for two nights with our daughter for a weekend in October. A very friendly welcome both to all of us and 2 dogs who had freedom of the house and the garden. Lovely house and rooms, with delicious breakfast and general very helpful owner.

I like to find out of the way places to stay in the countryside and wasn't disappointed here, just getting there was an adventure :-) This is fantastic accommodation, with a traditional feel without being over the top, nice big bed with walnut wood paneling and hunting trophies galore. David is a wonderful host, but I should admit at this... More

Stayed here with two dogs and had an amazing weekend, would love to go back. We were made to feel extremely welcome, the rooms were beautiful, breakfast was delicious and the location is stunning. There are various walks from the door and it's within easy reach of good pubs and Winchcombe.

What a lovely place this is. Idyllically situated on a working farm in what feels like deepest countryside, yet is only a couple of miles away from Winchcombe. We spent three nights here when walking the Cotswold Way and could not have had a better base. Perfectly positioned for walkers after the first day of walking you are welcomed with... More

The was a great home to visit. It is a great starting point for walking. David lent me his OL 45 Ordinance Survey map. I later bought one at W.H. Smith. It is roughly a 3 mile trail walk to Winchcombe over beautiful countryside. The Hailes Abbey is one mile away. The whole experience was very memorable with the blackberries... More

Our three day visit couldn't have been more perfect. Waking to the bleating of sheep in the surrounding meadows was a first for all of us. My sisters from Norway and Massachusetts joined me (Washington State) for my 70 birthday celebration and a sisters trip. Our vacation started at Farmcote. David is a delightful host serving up a delicious hearty... More
