On Saturday July 26th 2014 3pm ..this hotel turned 6 adults and 2 small children (one 4 years old and one 4 months old) away when we asked to be seated in the garden to have some cold drinks. We were told they only took parties with reservations. There was three large tables available outside and the dining room had... More

This was our first stay and we came away delighted that we chose it. Firstly the hotel is very well managed in all aspects. The attention to detail is exceptional. All the staff without exception were friendly, helpful and courteous. For garden lovers, the garden is most interesting with many aspects to it - well designed with a lot of... More

Decided to take advantage of the kitchen closure and opted for the bed and continental breakfast. I requested the best room available and what a surprise when we were shown to our room. We had the Tracy room, a beautiful room with large bathroom and far reaching views over the gardens. Staff couldn't do more to help. Haven't found a... More

After a nice strawl through and checcking the surroundings we stumbled into the garden. With a nice spot in the shade of grand trees we ordered a coffee and tea, that was swiftly served by a awfully decsend chap in a waiters uniform. Well done, nice place, high sense of service and good produce.

We recently returned to the Lords of the Manor to mark our 30th wedding anniversary. Due to unforeseen events, at the request of the hotel we were asked to amend our arrangements. At all times we were kept informed by the staff who were always helpful and courteous throughout. On arrival were received an upgrade room and a bottle of... More

My husband bought this as a surprise, very nice one at that. As soon as we pulled up we were made to feel very welcome, the service was second to none from all the staff. A nice little touch was the hand written note from the manager welcoming us. The Taster menu was superb! and we went with the wine... More

We've just had the pleasure of staying here for a couple of days. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel like very special guests, an art form lost in a lot of hotels these days, no check-in, just greeted and taken straight to our room with a full explanation of everything we needed to know, very nice!... I have stayed with my husband one day on 2/08/14. Very pleasant stay! Gorgeous Manor, beautiful room! Very friendly and helpful staff. We booked two massages as well and a dinner. Massages were great quality, but nobody informed us in advanced, when we made booking that massages will happen in our room. Massages were great, but I couldn't relax fully... More

A beautiful old Manor house in the heart of the cotswolds which really does live up to its reputation. The greeting was very warm and friendly and the staff are excellent, discretely ever-present. The room was spacious and delightfully furnished. Super restaurant, one star Michelin, which, for dinner, represented great value. A super wine list to accompany the fine food... More
