Always wanted to go to this place but found it quite expensive so delighted when it came up on travelzoo. Set in a beautiful part of the Cotswolds and nicely tucked away. We were upgraded to a better room which was a great staff. Staff were very informative and friendly. Room was lovely with a large comfortable bed but lacked... More

We travelled as a couple late February 2015 on a Travelzoo offer. We were met at the door by a member of staff who immediately took our luggage. We were shown to our upgraded room which was on a lower floor at the rear of the building. Nice size room with small but adequate bathroom with gold fittings and beautiful... More

My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel for one night with a Travelzoo deal. The room we stayed in was Stanton which was a good size and up a flight of stairs away from the other rooms which we appreciated. Initially there was a problem with some of the lights not working including the bathroom lights but Ellie... More

My partner and I decided on a two day break to the Cotswolds to blow away the winter cobwebs. This hotel was on a special offer with Living Social so we booked two nights. There was a couple of mix ups with the booking to start with, the confirmation originally came back as one night rather than two, then when... More

We booked in for a couple of nights and a 5 course tasting menu and had a lovely stay in this lovely old mansion with great dining. We were in the Cheetham room, up 2 flights of stairs and right up in the loft conversion. We were told that we had been upgraded but I have to doubt this (although... More

We celebrated out anniversary here on Wednesday with a dinner, bed and breakfast deal. The food was absolutely fantastic - beautifully served by delightful staff in the dining room with fresh flowers on the tables, crisp linen, spotless glasses and cutlery. We were not hurried at all and all courses were explained to us. There were food splashes on the... More

Our son and daughter treated us for a one night stay with five course evening meal with breakfast included , we arrived at about 1230 pm and our luggage was taken from us at the car by a porter at the front entrance and then stored until the room was made ready for us at 3pm but we were in... Can't fault the food, including a splendid breakfast, but the decor definitely needs refreshing. There were food splashes on the restaurant walls, tatty furniture in our bedroom, an unpleasant mark on our bed cover and when we moved the chair there were nuts on the floor.... it hadn't been hoovered very thoroughly. We also thought the service was overbearing. The... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback, I am rather sorry you did not raise this with us prior to departure - I find feedback like this on Trip rather final and it does deprive us of an opportunity to make a mends. I have looked at the table you sat at during dinner and I agree and will rectify.... More

We went here for our Anniversary. The hotel, the food and the staff cannot be faulted. We had The Wolford room. A lovely room and the bed was so comfortable, we had a really good night's sleep and it was so peaceful. We had their tasting menu, a 7 course meal, starting with canapés and champagne in the bar. The... More

We stayed with our two daughters for a night over half term. The service was impeccable and it is a lovely base for walks and drives to the wider Cotswolds. If I was looking really hard to offer some constructive comments - I loathe polyester filled pillows and would have expected feather pillows! Wifi could also be more extensive rather... More

Dear Guest Thank you for your feedback on your stay with us, I am glad you found us on good form and that you enjoyed the surrounding area - we are somewhat spoilt. Thank you for the feedback on the pillows, we will get to work on this. In terms of Wifi - we still await fibre into the village... More
