This hotel is perfectly placed to discover Tetbury. On the Main Street so everything is a few minutes walk. Dinner was excellent as was the breakfast. A secluded courtyard for summer relaxing makes a great addition. Parking is an issue on Tetbury and the hotel has no car park so you will have to park five minutes walk away. This... More

We went here to have lunch before visiting Highgrove. We had a very tasty lunch at a reasonable price. The staff were friendly and the ambiance was good. The furnishings were more of a traditional style and were a little quirky.

My stay was for 3 nights. I booked a cycle break and made use of the loaned Garmin GPS unit with preloaded maps. The routes all started from outside the hotel and where of different lengths very nice not having to use maps and stopping all the time. My bike was stored in a part of the hotel which looked... Stayed for business trip and was so impressed I will be returning for a short break later in the year. The rooms are well sized and immaculately clean and well presented. staff are very helpful and polite. A good sign is if the locals eat there and use the the bar. The food was excellent both evening and breakfast, and... More

Have just rerurned from a two day cycling break in the Cotwolds and The Ormond was the perfect base in the middle of Tetbury. Iain the owner is cycling mad and was full of great tips to make the most of our break and gave up his time to help us with our plans. All the staff at The a... More

This is an ideal hotel right in the centre of Tetbury; rooms are immaculately clean - albeit a bit quirky, by which I mean both us and our friends thought our rooms were strangely overfilled with furniture and our wardrobe came from a doll's house, so nowhere to hang our 'suits and posh frocks' for the wedding! That aside, both... More

We stayed for Badminton weekend. We had a great stay, the only downside being the room (a family room) overlooked the courtyard which was very noisy in the evening. The room was also on the small side but had everything you needed. The dining was excellent, the breakfast was served in the dining room too and was most enjoyable. The... More

My wife and I stayed here for one night and overall enjoyed our stay. Our room was lovely - just what you would expect in an old Coaching Inn. Lovely biscuits to go with the tea/coffee making facilities. Staff were young and cheerful. Only negatives were that some of the doors in the hallways needed a good clean, as did... More

We arrived at the Ormond, it looks very good from the outside, lots of kerb appeal. The pictures on the website look good also - don't be fooled! There is no parking at this hotel. You can park for free on the local streets for a max of 1hour then you have to move to a local pay and display.... More

My wife and I have just come back from the Ormond after a three night stay over the bank holiday weekend. First appearances are good, there is a comfortable reception/ lounge area, not your standard hotel reception. The bar is comfortable with a selection of sofa`s, tables and chairs and a seperate dining area. The bar serves a good range... More
