Such a shame. This place could be excellent. We stayed for our daughters wedding and booked some of the cottages for ourselves and some of the guests, others stayed in the B&B. All I can say is that they are getting there but it is going to take some time. On a positive note the gardens are amazing along with... more

What a beautiful setting the Great Tythe Barn is located in. Chic and modern renovations which blend in with the Cotswold style perfectly. I was staying there for a weekend break with fiends, getting away from the hectic city life. The place was very tranquil and would highly recommend it. The staff were very attentive and efficient................ Thank you for... more

We booked all the B&B’s and cottages for our guests on the occasion of the wedding of our daughter on the weekend of the 18 April. We were very impressed with the standard of the venue and the help given to us by Rhoda and others in the planning of the accommodation, and we received a lot of positive feedback... more

My wife and i stayed at 'The GREAT? Tythe barn' this weekend for my friends wedding. On arriving, the place looked amazing, lovely setting and so i was expecting our room to be worth the £100 we paid for 1 nights stay. After searching for the reception area, i found a lady, who i assumed was the owner, and asked... more

Ideal place to come and completely unwind and relax. Beautiful place with all the cottages very subtly built around the main barn....the new orangerie is a modern twist on a very traditional styled building, with all the latest mod cons (including special keys that only allow some people who are having bed and breakfast in!!). All very beautifully renovated and... more

Just a quickie - though people would like to see a photo of the shed mentioned in the post titled "Bangkok Hilton". We were there recently - not shed like at all - lovely. more

Literally the worse place my husband and I have ever stayed in. At £100 a night for a B&B you expect something decent. but this place was far from that, in fact I'd struggle to call it habitable. Peeling wallpaper, stained carpets with cigarette burns, chipped paint, dirty bathroom - it was a disgrace. I'm genuinely not one for complaining... more

Thank you for your comments. We apologise that you felt your stay with us was unacceptable. A member of staff has to be present during breakfast so we are confused to why you could not approach them during your stay. We would have been happy to listen and to try to resolve any problems at that time. Directions to the...

The family hired all of the cottages and the barn for a wedding. All guests were able to stay onsite and simply walk to and from the barn for the wedding service. Food was excellent, but a lot of the hard work that made the function so successful was down to the host ie barn decoration, putting supplies in the... more

Quiet location on edge of village. Tetbury is a very sleepy english village, so a good base for exploring elsewhere. Rooms in b&b were fine. Clean and spacious. Didn't have any trouble with the owner, but the other staff I met were friendly. Breakfast was good, though the fridge is not very big. more
