Very dispappointing stay. The hotel is clean and in a good location but very dated and the service is poor. I stood for 15 minutes waiting to get a coffee from the bar on Sunday morning, whilst 3 members of staff failed to acknowledge me, let alone serve me. I ended up walking out and going into town instead. We... More

Whilst the hotel is clean and the room was spacious I have to say it was the most disappointing stay I have ever had. Single glazed windows meant for a terrible nights sleep on very uncomfortable mattresses. The door to the room barely locked meaning that a sneeze would push it open, so do not stay with anything of monetary... More

On arrival my husband and I were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome from 2 members of staff. We were assisted with our luggage to the room. It was nicely decorated, very clean, plenty of space and it smelled very nice. We stayed there with a group of friends and relatives as we were attending a wedding in the area.... More

Central location. Very efficient and friendly staff. My wife and I stayed here for a short break and were absolutely delighted. Superb Thai Food in restaurant and the service perfect. Would stay here again.

The room was functional and that's about it. The service was quite frankly amateur to the extent of actually making my wife and I laugh. You ask for the bill and the guy walks off, never to return. The 'Thai' food they offer is the worst I've ever had. Asked for it spicy and sent it back twice. Absolutely no... More

Stayed here on a Friday night to break journey from Leicester to Exeter (Topsham). Was nice and central albeit a little tricky to get to round one way system. Not that many car parking spaces and not immediately obvious where car park is either (luckily I'd checked on Google street view first). Room was a decent size but bed was... More

My wife and I stayed here for a week and changed rooms twice. One room was small and plumbing was "iffy" at best, another had the most slippery bathtub we've ever experienced in 50 years of travel, and the third room was okay if you didn't mind a giant streetlight outside shining through the gap in the curtains. Included breakfasts... More

The staff were really lovely - they were very accommodating to us when we checked in quite late and very attentive to visitors in the morning when taking their breakfast orders and making sure they had everything they needed. Also dealt well with a complaint. Room was as it looks on website. Hotel is opposite a station and near to... More

We are a balloon team and we needed accommodation whilst competing in a competition in the local area. Freyer on reception was great and we were shown to our rooms. Firstly they were so hot. With no air conditioning we had to open the windows. This caused a problem because the room over looked the station car park and was... More
