We went for a two night break for my wifes birthday and it was just perfect. Warm, freindly, with caring polite staff, good food we left very contented. We will go back and take friends.

We took a dog accompanied 3 night break at The Bear with our family dog. The hotel has a small number of rooms in the Annexe where dogs can be accommodated. This is a good walking area with walks to suit all age groups straight from the hotel entrance, including gentle strolls and a moderately strenuous 8 mile circular walk.... More
