The pub was ideally placed to allow us a pleasant stroll into the town, and within easy reach of some of the local villages like Nailsworth and Painswick. Our room was a lovely size, and was decorated in a very calming beach theme, including driftwood mirror frames. Although the room is above a pub and restaurant, after 11pm, there is... More

On a day out with our new dog we were passing, & were happy to find that dogs are welcome in the bar area. We ordered food which was excellent (bubble & squeak highly recommended) clearly freshly home made & set us up for a great afternoons walking nearby. Would definitely come again!

Our room was above the bar, the barman did give us options of other rooms as it was a busy Friday night. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, giving advice on the best places to go in town and surrounding areas. The food was very good, nothing was too much bother for them.

Provided all the basics, staff helpful. Only let down was our room was above the bar and on Friday/Saturday there is loud music and customers till past midnight. Could do with getting doubel glazing in the rooms

This is a nice B&B in a pub close to town centre, with plenty of car parking. Staff are, very pleasant, rooms are clean. We stayed in room called Meadow looks out on a courtyard. Only remark would be there's a nice bathroom with a black toilet seat which looks like it has come from my old primary school, doesn't... More

Stayed for one night on a very busy Friday night. From the start the staff were all very good and extremely helpful. Stayed with friends and were going on to a works reunion. Staff phoned for a taxi with a smile. The room was large, but if I was honest could do with a make over. Despite being above the... More

I booked the Clothiers Arms for my Mum's Birthday lunch last Sunday. We had to preorder as we were such a large group which is fair enough, there was a very good Sunday selection. The food was lovely, very generous potions and good value and all the staff looked after us very well. We were about half an hour late... More

We had a lovely lunch here today. Plenty of vegetarian choices which made a pleasant change! Child friendly. Good and prompt service. Nice food and generous portions. Outdoor play area. Big car park. Recommended.

Had a meal here the other day - lots to eat - full plates, good service and the meal was fine (some frozen veg I think). However, the waitresses didn't know what real ales were being served at the bar. The car park is quite small so you need to get there early (it's worth it) this is strange, most... More

I have eaten here about 6 times now and am always amazed by the food! The portions are massive and the prices are so reasonable. They offer a large menu for both snacks and hot meals and local produce is used. I look forward to my next visit :)
