My partner and I were so very impressed by this beautiful B&B. Spacious, clean and tasteful rooms and fantastic breakfast. The owners were very nice too. Can't say too much more than what has already been said in previous reviews but I do recommend it as a great place to take your partner on a weekend away. Guaranteed she/he will... more

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights at Number Nine in late September 2009. We were in room 2 with a queen sized bed and no shower. The furnishings was simple, the room airy and large, with a TV, chair, tea and coffee service and chest of drawers. It had a quaint, low beamed ceiling, and windows overlooking charming... more

Best English breakfast I've ever had. Learned from fellow guest at breakfast that Jim has a background as a chef (in London)---wow, it was apparent in the details. Frosted mug of orange juice, linen table cloth, Greek style yogurt with great fresh fruit. Eggs, meat, etc. cooked to perfection. High quality and excellent presentation without being stuffy. Charming location; we... more

We stayed here for our first 2 nights in the UK in mid-August, and had a great stay. We had room 1 which overlooked the front. There was a little traffic noise, but not enough to disturb us. The room was very spacious and well fitted out. The bed was very comfortable - just what we needed after our long... more

We were treated well by James and Carol Brown, the owners. Our room was large and very clean. The breakfasts, prepared by James and served by Carol were fabulous. Very plentiful and delicious. the Browns were so friendly and helpful. We loved the location of the B&B and enjoyed our stay at Stow. We would definitely recommend this establishment and... more

we stayed at number 9 recently and my friend and i were very dissappointed. The single beds we slept on were very uncomfortable and the noise of the passing lorries gave us two sleepless nights. we were so tired that we did not enjoy our sight seeing around the cotswolds. The smell from the fish and chip shop , virtually... more

I booked Number Nine after reading the postive reviews on here and was not disappointed. First of all, the B&B is centrally located, with on the road parking. If for any reason you cannot park outside there is a free carpark a short walk away. Just over the road you will find a great place to eat called The Butchers.... more

We have recently stayed at lots of B&B's and hotels, as we walked The Ridgeway 2 weeks ago. For a rest & to watch Luton Town FC play Forest Green Rovers, we had a few days in the Cotswolds, this ULTRA friendly, SPOTLESSLY clean B&B was a real pleasure. I didn't get to meet snoop, because he was sleeping, but... more

We were looking for an authentic Cotswold village experience, and Number Nine fit the bill reasonably well for us. Stow-On-The-Wold was easily our favorite village based on the varied architecture, prevalence of pubs/restaurants, and the variety of shops. Number Nine has a cozy lounge/living room downstairs, complete with fireplace, couches, and dining area. Our host James met us downstairs and... more

We just got back from a 3-week trip to England and Scotland, staying in a variety of accommodations, and we all agree that Number Nine was our favorite. From the minute we stepped into the charming interior, we felt welcome. Carol and James Brown are the proprietors of Number Nine and their years of experience in the hospitality business show... more
