Two nights in June and three nights in July and we'll be back for more quite likely. Very comfortable and clean. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Nothing too much trouble. Superb breakfast. We'd recommend to anyone wanting to stay in this part of the Cotswolds. Note this is a B&B not a hotel

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at this lovely B&B, along with 2 friends. This was a very enjoyable visit. The house is situated in the centre of Stow on the Wold and there are several restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance. Stow is centrally situated in the Cotswolds so is an ideal base for exploring... More

After spending a week in London, we were really looking forward to a small inn and genuine interactions with others. We picked up a car leaving London and my husband and I were pretty frazzled by the time we got to Stow. But we did get there exactly on time. We were greeted by Carol who couldn't have been nicer.... We were staying in Stow because of a friend's birthday and having lived in Stow for several years before moving, we had heard positive reports on this B&B. We weren't disappointed. We stayed in room 2 at the front, a lovely big room with a great large bed and atmospheric olde worlde beams and decor. Breakfast was fab, and the... More

Well located in town - short walk to local sights and restaurants. Our room was spacious, delightfully decorated with a very comfortable bed. Excellent full English breakfast tailored to your desires. Carol and James were very friendly, gave helpful local advice with the quintessential touch of English humour. Both were very keen that we enjoyed ourselves while staying with them.... More

We stayed for two nights on our UK vacation. The location of the B&B is fairly central to the town center with plenty of street parking. It is a perfect home base for exploring the Cotswolds and surrounding areas, including a scenic four mile walk down to Lower Slaughter and Bourton on the Water. James and Carol were wonderfully kind... More

Slept like a rock, ate like a king. Perfect town and bed and breakfast out of which to explore the Cotswolds. James and Carol were friendly, genuine, and hilarious; the dog added to the environment as well. Wish I could have stayed here longer than two nights!!

We stayed in room 1 for 3 nights. The room is large and the bed is big and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, enough to keep us going all day. Good position within easy walking distance to bars and restaurants. All you could want from a B & B. Would return if in the area

Jim & Carol are a very friendly and welcoming couple. This is a comfortable, character property. We stayed in Room 1 with an enormous king size comfortable bed with period features and modern shower room. Breakfast was very good. We were cycling and Jim stored our bikes in the enclosed courtyard at the rear of the property. No. 9 is... More

We stayed at Number 9 on a trip to go to Longborough Opera. It was quite delightful. Jim and Carole were great hosts. The room was great and the breakfast really, really good. Nothing was too much trouble. We are looking forward to another stay in a few weeks time and have even added an extra day.
