Stayed here with my sister on a girls trip and just loved the cozy quaintness of the town and the inn. Winding staircase with big suitcases is not preferable but the owner was a true gentleman and lugged it up 3 flights of stairs. Very medieval feel to the room and a huge King size bed. Breakfast was delicious. A... More

We stayed in room #1 for 3 nights in mid September 2014 and totally enjoyed our visit. The B&B is well located close to the center of Stow which is a very central Cotswold location. James and Carol, the proprietors, treated new and returning guests as old friends and provide excellent food and accommodations. Fans of soccer teams other than... More

We stayed at Number 9 for 2 nights late August 2014. The room was spacious, the bed was awesome, the food was cooked to perfection..... in fact I would say it is the best B&B we have stayed in, and we have stayed in a LOT! The B&B is located perfectly in the middle of the Cotswolds with easy links... More

Very friendly accommodation, we loved being right in the centre of the town; this made it so convenient to wander up just 1 Minnie's walk to the town centre! Quaint shops, VERY good food. The kind you only get in rural places like the cotswolds- fresh meat, strong cheese, local ale. Couldn't flaw the place and we're very glad we... More

Great home base to explore Cotswold by car. Parking in the street nearby has not been a problem. The breakfasts are elegantly presented, the room on 2nd floor was spacious and clean, the owners are friendly and helpful... but I wish the bathroom had a real shower and the water pressure was inadequate....

I spent a night at Number Nine in May, on my way back North from Dorset. The house has been sympathetically updated, with a mix of original features and modern facilities. The owners are lovely people and the breakfast they present is excellent. The hotel is a couple of minutes walk to the town centre and there are plenty of... More

We stayed at Number 9 in August and were really pleased with our room. We had the one on the second floor. We found it to be very clean and of a good size. The bed was very comfortable as were the two chairs for relaxing, reading, etc. There were tea and coffee making facilities in the room and soap,... More

My sister and I stayed here this spring and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. James and Carol were wonderful hosts and very helpful with information. The breakfasts were lovely and hot. Bedroom was large with room to sit and relax. We would definitely stay here again. You won't be disappointed!

Number nine is conveniently situated by the town centre. It has great character with lovely beams, old doors and deep, low windowsills. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The bed was bigger than king-size and was the most comfortable I've ever slept in at a hotel or B & B. The breakfast was extremely good. The fresh fruit salad... More

My mom and I stayed in room 2 for two nights in July. We were so pleased with everything including cleanliness, hospitality, location, and breakfast- especially considering the price! This was easily the best valued B&B on our trip. We liked staying in Stow because it provided a good balance of shops, restaurants, and most of all hiking trails. Jim... More
