Very well looked after by James and Carol. Delicious breakfast, comfy bed and clean room. Lovely sitting room where we whiled away a couple of hours in front of the fire on the squishy sofas. Kind and helpful owners. Delicious food at the restaurant opposite (The Old Butchers) recommended by James. Will definitely return.

Whilst searching Trip Advisor for hotels & B&B's in The Cotswolds, my girlfriend and I stumbled across Number Nine. With so many excellent reviews, we decided to book that same night. We checked in to this 3 bedroom B&B on Friday 6th November & checked out on Sunday 8th November. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly by James, one of... More

I stayed there with my wife and my sons for 4 days for vacation. Excellent place and food, but the best, the owners. Hope the life give us the chance to visit the place again and meet them! Vrry well located. Waking distance to all places of this lovely small town. Nice restaurants.

This is exactly what you would want from a B&B. Spotless large rooms, with quality fixtures and fittings, Perfect hosts, Quality breakfast with locally sourced ingredients. The price is very very reasonable. I would expect to pay at least another £40 plus!. Location is picturesque, you will not need your car to enjoy local pubs, restaurants and tea rooms.

Deserves all the fab reviews. One of the cutest B and B's we stayed in, loved the character of the room, oozes authentic English charm. James and Carol are the real deal, a fun couple that genuinely welcomes you in and helps provide for a great stay in this lovely village. The recommendation to have drinks at The Bell and... More

This is an amazing little bed and breakfast. The place was immaculate and the owner are very friendly. Breakfast is amazing with all the trimmings needed to soak up the previous night beers. We had the small rook on the top floor but we was told about this when we booked we loved the room it was cosy and romantic.... More

We stayed here at the end of September and enjoyed our hosts, James and Carol. Nice to have a spacious room and a king size bed, although the shower was a little bit of a challenge. Great breakfast. Good suggestions on what to see. Stow-on-the-Wold is a beautiful little town, wished we could have stayed more than just two nights.

James is a superb host, the rooms are lovely, and the location is perfect - so not much more we could ask for! Even the Poached Egg was superb. Despite being a small house it felt very private, and very easy to be comfortable and relax in. James also gave great recommendations for what to do in the area.

It was hard to leave our host at Number Nine. We felt like we'd made a new friend. Not only is the host delightful, funny, and generous, the place is charming, clean and serves up excellent breakfasts. It's perfectly located, just doors away from several great restaurants in the heart of the village. We had a fabulous time even in... More

James and Carol are excellent hosts. We had room 2 on the 1st floor (2nd American) which was spotless, large and faces the main street. There's a bit of street noise if you leave the window open at night (which we did) and although it didn't bother me (and I'm a light sleeper) the first night it bothered my husband.... More
