One of the nicest places we have ever stayed at. Lovely hosts with good humour every day. The room was just perfect - large with lots of space. Good tea-making facilities and a very comfortable double bed. The breakfasts were really good with the sausage and bacon outstanding. Good size en-suite facilities with the only niggle being the lack of... More

I first visited this marvellous guest house in 2004, shortly after the current proprietors took it over. It was so good that my wife and I have been returning every couple of years since. This was our fifth visit and we've already decided that it won't be our last. As I've reviewed this property twice before, if I described it... More

An excellent stay. Bed was comfortable and the room and service were excellent. Probably the best full English I have had in a B&B. Went extra step to provide my daughter with her Coco Pops on second day. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Great location.

This was our second visit to number 9. This time we were in bedroom 2. Lovely big room, lovely big bed. Jim's breakfasts were amazing as usual, freshly made fruit salad and delicious cooked breakfast in whatever combination you want. Our thanks to Jim, Carol & Snoop for another great weekend stay.

Stayed here with my sister on a girls trip and just loved the cozy quaintness of the town and the inn. Winding staircase with big suitcases is not preferable but the owner was a true gentleman and lugged it up 3 flights of stairs. Very medieval feel to the room and a huge King size bed. Breakfast was delicious. A... More

We stayed in room #1 for 3 nights in mid September 2014 and totally enjoyed our visit. The B&B is well located close to the center of Stow which is a very central Cotswold location. James and Carol, the proprietors, treated new and returning guests as old friends and provide excellent food and accommodations. Fans of soccer teams other than... More

We stayed at Number 9 for 2 nights late August 2014. The room was spacious, the bed was awesome, the food was cooked to perfection..... in fact I would say it is the best B&B we have stayed in, and we have stayed in a LOT! The B&B is located perfectly in the middle of the Cotswolds with easy links... More

Very friendly accommodation, we loved being right in the centre of the town; this made it so convenient to wander up just 1 Minnie's walk to the town centre! Quaint shops, VERY good food. The kind you only get in rural places like the cotswolds- fresh meat, strong cheese, local ale. Couldn't flaw the place and we're very glad we... More

Great home base to explore Cotswold by car. Parking in the street nearby has not been a problem. The breakfasts are elegantly presented, the room on 2nd floor was spacious and clean, the owners are friendly and helpful... but I wish the bathroom had a real shower and the water pressure was inadequate....

I spent a night at Number Nine in May, on my way back North from Dorset. The house has been sympathetically updated, with a mix of original features and modern facilities. The owners are lovely people and the breakfast they present is excellent. The hotel is a couple of minutes walk to the town centre and there are plenty of... More
