Booked one nights stay and were not disappointed. The accommodation was superb and full of character. The room was large and comfortable with a spacious bathroom. The hosts were lovely and extremely friendly. Breakfast was superb, freshly cooked and delicious. A must stay.

This lovely B&B ticks every box bearing in mind the price and the limitations of the period building. The hosts are personable and interested and are keen to ensure that you have everything you need. Cosy warm rooms & an open fire blazing away in the sitting breakfast room/nice fragrant cotton sheets with very comfortable mattress and pillows/plenty of hot... More

We booked a one night stay and was over the moon with the accommodation and superb breakfast. There was everything we needed in the room and the bed was extremely comfortable. The owners were friendly and helpful and recommended places to eat and visit. This guest house is situated in a picturesque village and is ideal for a holiday or... More

A belated report/recommendation for this wonderful guest house. I stayed for 5 nights in January Beautiful large room, excellent breakfast and, most importantly, friendly, warm and kind hosts. I will be back.

My partner and I visited Number Nine for a two-night break in February 2015. Having read so many positive reviews about the bed and breakfast, we had big expectations but Jim and Carol really exceeded them. They were wonderful hosts, making us feel incredibly welcome. Nothing was too much trouble, and the tailor-made breakfasts were fantastic. The room (number 2)... More

Myself and my wife tried to book into Number NIne for our anniversary in October 2014 but it was booked up so I booked in advance for Valentines weekend 2015. The property is well located on the Main Street running through Stow and is within a short walk to all the restaurants and pubs. Stow is a pretty village and... More

Firstly, apologies to Jim and Carol for the late review! We stayed for two nights in Dec wanting a quiet time in warm and comfy surroundings. We couldn't have asked for anything more. Jim and Carol are wonderful hosts. The area set aside for residents to relax in front of the fire is very thoughtful. Jim and Carol have a... More

We stayed here last night just for the one night and were very happy with the room, ensuite and breakfast. Huge comfy bed, hospitality tray, good TV and wifi reception and a warm welcome. Breakfast was excellent, especially the fruit salad and full English. Would not hesitate to stay again

I stayed here by myself in October. I was on the top floor and the room was very nice. Other than the slanted ceiling, it was a great room and had everything I needed during my stay. Jim, the host, was there by himself for the week and gave me great recommendations on places to visit in the area. He... More

This little B&B is awesome! Rooms are huge and bathrooms are a generous size. Very clean and very comfy. Tea making facility in the room. The breakfast was definitely the highlight! Cozy breakfast room, we got the table right at the window. French press coffee too which was delish! It's right on the main street, walking distance to the square.... More
