Nice place full of character, sloping floors, wobbly walls,(Muntjack) pleasant welcome, lovely breakfast of local fayre, (If a little late at 9-10am !) Cannot vouch for dinner as other pubs in town a bit cheaper, (Not to say if as good though)

Great host, great location,fab food, nice rooms, and fantastic food. Stayed with four friends over New Year and had a great stay. Spent 2 nights at the White Hart, stayed in the Stag room (well worth the extra £10). Room is comfortable, a decent size with a lovely roll-top bath in an alcove off the main room. Stayed here in September 2011, we had the stag room, very nice room with king size bed. I think this is the best room in the hotel with bath and shower. I would stay again, nice food and a good breakfast. Second time we have stayed here. Mandy&Tony
