I've just returned from staying at The King's Arms. My partner and I, and our dog, had a quaint little cottage that was clean and spacious. We had dinner and breakfast there, both excellent and incredible value. The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional. We will definately be back. The place to stay in Stow-on-the-Wold. more

Went for a weekend in the Cotswolds to celebrate our anniversary and after hearing good things, we decided to stay at the King's Arms. We took advantage of their dinner bed and breakfast offer for the Friday night, and the food was absolutely fantastic, and the deal represents brilliant value for money as we were given a choice from the... more

Just one night was sadly all we could spare in our busy schedule but we are so glad we chose the Kings Arms. The staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food was the best I have tasted in a long while and served so elegantly, our deal enabled us to select delicious choices from the... more

we stayed in cottage 2 ( the middle one) whilst we had no real problems, apart from tiny bathroom,we did have a cottage that had an adjoining door to the next cottage. As a result we could hear every word and sound from next door, when sitting in our lounge area.Assume they heard us too,but it is very off putting, we were lucky... more

We stayed here for just one night in December 08. A beautiful spot on the lower edge of the market square in one of the Cotswold’s loveliest towns, we had always admired the King’s Arms but never stayed there. We had one of the cottage rooms, in the old stable block out the back of the pub. It’s a vertically... more

For three consequetive years we have stayed at this hotel, in a cottage suite on each occasion. The hotel has changed hands in that time and the general staff attitude has improved. Otherwise, the experience has remained the same. Enjoyable and relaxing, with good food in the Naseby restaurant, an excellent breakfast, wireless broadband, complimentary sherry in the room and... more

We (me, my partner and her parents) stayed here as I remembered it from my Uni days, for one night. Good points: Very friendly staff Great breakfast Nice rooms Bad points: At 120 gbp a night (Friday night) - it's overpriced in my opinion The shower / water in room 10 (right next to the restaurant entrance) is terrible. It... more

This very oldie worldie hotel is smack in the middle of the market square so once you have parked your car in the hotel car park you can wander the quant streets. The staff are extremely accommodating. The food first class. Very good value. Certainly a very different experience staying in such an old hotel. more

We stayed just one night at the King's Arms but really enjoyed our visit. We were in the same room that Charles I slept in lo those many years ago! Rom was quite roomy, large bed with comfy linens, medium-sized bathroom with nice deep tub -- nothing special, given the age of the bathroom, but certainly above average. Breakfast was... more

We have just returned from a two night stay here. The hotel was taken over in March by a young married couple and one other partner, all of whom have worked in hospitality before. The chef is the brother of the husband of the couple. We met all three and they were lovely, down to earth, friendly and very approachable.... more
