Stayed here for the night after attending our son's wedding at a nearby village. The location as a wedding reception venue is first class, but that is probably the only good thing you can say about it. The rooms are extremely over priced for what they are, which is tired and dated and added to that, a few members of... More

What a rip off this was. We booked at the Fosse Manor Hotel/Hyde Barn on the recommendation of the father of the bride when we agreed to attend his daughter's wedding. We we initially taken aback by the quoted price of £160.00 per night per room but we expected a luxurious room and facilities. We were also told by the... More

Looking back on our stay I feel we paid more than the hotel offered. We had attended the wedding of family friends so there was a convenience factor staying on site. The breakfast was ample and well presented, but timing a tad restricted after a late night celebrating. The room was fine, plenty of space and comfortable. But at £145... More

Stayed one night whilst attending family wedding venue, which is also on site. Nice bricks and mortar and location: wedding a bit of a shambles and food the worst the family has been served in some years: at this price is should have been 5- star. A self service breakfast was fair and sadly, the culinary highlight of an expensive... More

A great location for a wedding BUT don’t stay there! We went to our nieces wedding in the Hyde Barn which is attached to the hotel, the surrounding are nice and the staff excellent, however the rooms are dreadful. The food provided during the day was also very good; you need to keep an eye on your glass though ~... More

We attended our Son's wedding 6th July and stayed over with the rest of the family's, the bed rooms are not as pictured now they are well used and could do with money spending on them, for the price you pay it would have been better to stay else where and pay for a taxi.We had two rooms one for... Attended a wedding at this hotel (Hyde Barn) on 28th June 2015. Lovely spot and well maintain building. Hotel staff faultless and very attentive. Stayed at the hotel but not so good. Paid £155 ( with wedding discount) for a superior room, but not worth the money. Could not check in until 3pm, the wedding was at 1.30pm, and had... More

We attended the wedding of a family friend and his bride on Sunday 21st June 2015 at Hyde Barn. It was the perfect setting for a very momentous occasion. One we and everyone else there will remember with emotion and happiness. Thank you to everyone who help make this such a wonderful day for the Bride and Groom and all... More

Stayed after son's wedding, the room, bed and bathroom were huge and the bed comfy, clean but just too tired looking for the price it cost us (£ 175) particularly as we did not spend much time in it. The hotel staff were faultless though, attentive service before, during and after the wedding. Hyde Barn made a beautiful wedding venue,... More

We stayed here for a wedding this week and its a lovely spot BUT the heating in every room was so high and could not be turned down (im not 85 years old so don't need 85 degree heat at night) ! Half the guests I spoke to could not sleep because it was too hot and as we were... More
