We arrived at what is now Robinson's on the Hill a week after it had reopened - which we hadn't realised. The hotel is gorgeous but there was still some work going on. It took us a long time to get someone to come to reception and when they finally did they gave us a room key - only for... more

We arrived on Saturday 23rd,a wedding in full swing and were told we were being 'upgraded' to a junior suite. The 'suite' was not too our taste at all, situated in the Coach house and away from the main hotel. We had booked a 'kingsize deluxe'. We were moved the next day,but I noticed as a previous trip advisor had said, men in black... more

Unfortunitly for everybody who works at this stunning property, it has again fallen into administration by the seems, so... What am i ment to do with my booking for the end of july? I only phoned up to add choc's for my wife in our rooms! So, the nice young lady has just suggested a property "just up the road",... more

We stayed two nights and loved every minute we were there! The views were beautiful, the rooms were first class and the staff was friendly and very accommodating. The food in the restaurant was exceptional. The location was central to the day trips we went on to explore the beautiful English countryside. more

We arrived at this hotel to be told it had gone into administration that morning! Whilst we were there men in black suits stood around with clipboards and men in white "forensic type overalls" were busy in the background. The place had been completely stripped of all furnishings. A clearly upset member of staff kindly rang around to find us... more

I cannot understand how some people can be so unlucky!! We have just spent a wonderful night here - admittedly helped by glorious Bank Holiday Sun. The staff were pleasant and helpful - admittedly they were "casually dressed" but I'd rather have a casually dressed smile and thank you than the pompous glare or apparent disinterest that can often accompny... more

We booked a trip away for a big family birthday and we were not disappointed in the slightest. The room was beautiful and our evening was a great success. From a lively atmosphere in the bar for pre - dinner drinks and an amazing meal in the restaurant. One of our family members is very fussy and they had no... more

My husband and I stayed at this hotel with our 5 month old baby for a night. We were upgraded to a junior suite in the main buidling which was clean and very well furnished and had an amazing view of the grounds. We were given a travel cot that we had previously requested and the hotel provided high chairs.... more
