The Wyck is a lovely hotel. Criticisms in the main are minor. Yes it may be a little tired in places and could do with a bit of TLC. The bar area especially which whilst steeped in history and tradition is rather dreary. We booked a two night spa break which was first class and the staff where attentive and... More

My wife and mother-in-law stayed here for a 5 night break earlier this month. Everyone was very helpful, and they were made to feel special. The conservatory dining room was delightful, and the food served was excellent (breakfast and evening meals). Their rooms, in the main house, were extremely comfortable and spacious. The views across the Cotswold Hills are wonderful,... More

Had 1 night in Wyck Hill House hotel. Hotel is lovely setting with views over the Cotswolds from it's large terrace. We had a room in the main house - a very large room which seemed new (I think the hotel's been recently refurbished). Staff were friendly and helpful. We paid the £50 extra for the 3 course dinner for... More

We stayed for one night and there were a few things that really let this place down - it could have been fantastic but it wasn't at all. Firstly there is no Wi-Fi, well there is "complimentary Wi-Fi throughout" but our room was right above reception and we couldn't connect - when we asked we were told they had been... More

We booked a 2 night break with breakfast and evening meal included which included a bottle of champagne and chocolates in the room on arrival, for £135 each I expected an average experience, but we were very pleasantly surprised at the size of the room and the excellent level of service. We were roomed in one of the rooms in... More

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at this hotel. When we booked, we upgraded to a cottage which was away from the main house. On entering the room, I instantly noticed stains on the carpet and on the side of the bed, the curtain was hanging off the hook, the phone didn't work and the wall paper... More

The name describes the position. Fairly near the hilltop, the views from the rooms are fabulous. This is especially true when having breakfast in the conservatory. Massive grounds allow for pleasant walks. We had a minor problem with the heated towel rail, but the staff overcame this by providing extra towels, so that we always had dry ones. All facilities... We stayed here for two nights following our wedding, The Hotel did not know it was our wedding when we booked it. On arrival ( still in our wedding clothes) we were greeted by a fabulous sight of the hotel and the reception was top class, while booking in they also, at no extra cost, upgraded us from the superior... This place is simple to summarise, location amazing, staff and facilities the pits, how it gets a 4* is beyond me We visited for a friends wedding, an hour before with around 100 people in the bar, there was no staff, when 1 batman eventually arrived he was rude and threw empty bottles into the skip so hard they smashed...
