My husband I booked this hotel for our first wedding anniversary. We had married in stow on the wolds last year, so wanted to return there for our anniversary. We chose this hotel as it was reasonably priced and a good location. The hotel itself is lovely as are the grounds surrounding it. Very picturesque. We stayed in one of... More

An error made by an agent on their website initially made me cancel my booking but, when the hotel discovered the error, they honoured the contract and could not have been more ameliorative or professional in the way they handled the matter. Situated in the middle of nowhere on the Oxfordshire - Gloucestershire border, it is a country idyll that... More

Excellent location, well run hotel. Only stayed one night, but enjoyed the stay. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was lovely but the floor was very badly laid, hardboard had buckled badly, and furniture wobbly. But apart from that very pleased with stay

My husband and I spent just one night here in July (we were originally booked for 3 nights but had to change for personal reasons) and we will definitely return. The hotel itself has a very traditional country hotel feel about it from the old-fashioned reception to the open fire places however we stayed in the Orangery just across from... More

We found this hotel on a website called cotswoldhotelbreak.com and it was a deal for bed breakfast and evening meal with an afternoon tea included. The website said you would be upgraded if another room was available. This was an anniversary break and I had put that in the comments and to my surprise we had been upgraded to the... More

My husband and I stayed at the Wyck hotel two years ago. We did not have the perfect stay. The first night the room we had been given had a broken bathroom, the dvd player didn't work, and the bed was broken. We showed the staff in the morning after waking up with a headache from sleeping in a broken... More

This was our third visit to this lovely hotel and it was just as good as we had remembered. Stayed again in the Orangery, which we really enjoy. Lovely large rooms, most with a private patio. This time I had to ask the chef to conjure up some meals especially for me, as I am currently having health problems and... More

After driving home on sat 16th august after a terrible night at another hotel we drove past this hotel in a lastminute attempt for a room that night. The lovely reception staff were glad to help and offered us the room above the bar and it was stunning. A 50inch huge tv, 2 robes and slippers, his and hers sink... More

Stayed here with our daughter last weekend as comfortable overnight stay whilst visited Jamie Oliver's Feastival. We had a large bedroom which was quite sparkly furnished but loved the space. The Bathroom had a few cobwebs which remained during our two night stay but overall the room was very comfortable and clean. The grounds of the hotel are lovely and... More
