Stayed for 2 nights using a Barclays Bespoke Offer, paying extra £20 per night for upgrade for an "executive room". The hotel is well located to allow trips to other parts of the Cotswolds. We were in the Orangery. Lovely room, looking out onto big bit of lawn. We had lots of light. The non-executive rooms looked like they would... More

I stayed here with my 2 daughters aged 11 and 12 and whilst its a lovely hotel with lots of character, it's not really geared up for children. If you're after a more formal stay then this is for you, the staff are very polite and welcoming but the atmosphere is very high brow and quite a few of the... More

The setting is fantastic with views of rolling countryside and the building looks stunning. Sadly the garden rooms left a lot to be desired, mould and grime in the bathroom, chipped and damaged walls, bathroom locks missing - the garden rooms definitely feel like the poor relation! The setting in the main house for breakfast is lovely and everything looks... More

Stayed again on a Travelzoo deal, which was excellent value. Once again we had a huge bedroom/en suite (on the ground floor in the main hotel), the food was delicious and the service excellent. The hotel is ideally situated for touring the Cotswolds and I would certainly recommend it.

Beautiful Hotel with amazing views. The grounds are very well kept. Happy friendly reception staff greeted us. Fantastic value for money for the treatments we had booked on the special August offer. Very knowledgeable and attentive staff. Can't wait to go back.

Stayed here on a deal. Fantastic value for money for DBB for two nights with upgraded room and champers on arrival with super chocolates. Everything was great, the room in the Coach House, the food for dinner & breakfast was of a very high standard.A lovely hotel in picturesque surroundings, just south of Stow.Staff were a little distant but generally... We stayed in room 46 in the orangery which has a private patio. The room has patio doors but no other window which makes the room dark and also stuffy during the night as you can not open a window. Some orangery patio rooms have windows but none were available during our stay. The bathroom is large but there is mould... More

Booked this hotel through Travelzoo so an absolute bargain. Booking in process was very welcoming. We had a room in the main building which was superb, probably one of the biggest rooms we have stayed in. Evening meal was lovely I am not surprised they have won various awards. With the deal we had £30 each for dinner and you... More

Myself and my wife stayed hear for two nights last week. On arrival it looked so grand. We were given a upgrade apparently to a garden room which we though was very kind as we only paid half the price of what it should have been. We paid £190 bed and breakfast. Well the first thing we noticed was it... More

We have visited this hotel together with our friends several times ove the last 5 years and we all have really enjoyed the visits but I have to say or visit this month again with your friends was disappointing to say the least. Not everything had changed the building was still impressive and the members of staff we met were... More
