The staff, the cleanliness of the room, the food, everything was excellent. We had a small problem with the shower but it was sorted within 10 minutes, excellent service. Highly recommended for short or long stays. The staff could not have been more helpful and happy.

Stayed for two nights on Travelzoo deal with friends from USA. Paid £20 per room per night supplement for Coach House rooms which seemed worth it - they were mini-suites. Evening meal (included) was first class and a la carte option was very little extra. Breakfasts of very high quality. Service friendly and very good. We are regular Travelzoo mini-breakers;... More

This hotel is in a lovely area. The reception area very dark but the staff were very pleasant. This hotel though has serious issues with housekeeping the toilet was stained, and not clean. I understand that cleaning staff are not allowed to use bleach but other cleaners can be used that do not harm the environment. The shower was powerful... More

This place has so much potential it's infuriating. I wholeheartedly concur with other traveller reviews that you really can't label yourself a 'spa' without a pool and possibly a gym but that obvious let down aside, this is a place I would liken to an endearing old lady with poise, charm, a jaded elegance and in need of a great... This is a lovely place to stay for a short break in the Cotswolds. We stayed for two nights with another couple and really enjoyed it. The staff are lovely, extremely friendly and helpful. There were a few things that needed attention but it is a very large country house and must take an amazing amount of maintenance. We were... More

This hotel is gorgeous, set in a fabulous location. We attended a wedding reception here and stayed, what an experience! The food we ate at this wedding was probably the best meal I have eaten ever, but at a wedding, mass catered? It was amazing food. The staff could not do enough for you, beautiful luxurious rooms, all you could... More

I have stayed here quite a few times now and even hosted a Sunday Lunch for all my friends in the Private Dining Room. I have just returned and it just gets better and better. I wish it was my home! The staff are so welcoming and nothing is enough trouble and everything done with a smile. The highlight is... More

This ideally located hotel offers great food, Comfortable beds, spa and corporate amenities. We stayed for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed out time there. It was let down slightly by minor failings, shower light not working but fixed immediately. On asking at the bar they had no Campari, Tia Maria. (or Muscat which was offered on the dinner menu). Other... More

We needed a hotel overnight in proximity to Longborough Festival Opera, and this was convenient, in a lovely location, and with a great breakfast. We didn't dine here. Our room was quiet (even with the wedding party going on two floors below us until midnight), spacious, well equipped, with nice views. I agree with an earlier comment about the pillows... More

If you want a quiet country getaway then this is a perfect option for you. The hotel could do with a little tlc especially on the staircase and hallways and the food portions could definitely be made a lot bigger but overall a lovely night away.
