A wonderful stay in a beautiful Cotswolds town, short walking distance from the Main Street. Great location as not too loud outside room but close enough to the town itself. Beautiful elaborate room and delicious food! Highly recommended place to stay!

We stayed here for a birthday treat and what a delightful stay it was. Our room was very spacious and beautifully decorated. We were upgraded at no extra cost. We had a delicious dinner and complimentary champagne and a little birthday cake. The staff were charming and very accommodating. Breakfast was very good also. We really enjoyed our stay and... More

Having checked Trip Advisor for something nice in "central" Stow, couldn't find anything in my price range that I had any confidence in. Wasn't looking for anything special, just clean, comfortable and not falling apart. Yes, I know I'm in the middle of some of the oldest buildings in England oozing heaps of "olde world" charm, however I still wanted... More

Four of us stayed at this hotel last night. We arrived earlier than we said we would, and the receptionist welcomed us by saying "welcome" and your rooms are all ready. We had two beautiful rooms with very new modern bathrooms. The breakfast the next morning was excellent. Nothing was too much for the staff. When we asked for some... More

My husband and I travelled to the Cotswolds with our three sons (16,12 & 9) and never have we experienced such poor service. We have travelled extensively worldwide and having dined in many places, this establishment has won hands down for the most dreadful dining experience. As we sat in the dining room with our sons in a rather well... More

Rooms was clean. Requested early check in and this could only be decided last minute apparently. The following we were woken up tv doors banging and people talking at 6.30. Walls are like paper! Breakfast was extremely disappointing. All looked very unappetising and didn't taste much better. The highlight of our stay was the four poster bed. Not worth the... More

Booked a four poster bedroom for our honeymoon getaway only to arrive at the hotel and be shown to a different style room, although ok wasn't what I'd booked. Soon sorted and shown to a four poster bedroom which obviously hadn't been prepared as the room was dirty and the towels had only made it to the bedside table. We... More

I only booked on the day, very quickly, without really checking much out about the hotel. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised. Our room was just lovely, bathroom fab, with amazing shower and victorian free standing bath. The concierge was most helpful and charming too. Breakfast was delicious too. The only thing I was disappointed with, was that a... More
