Hotel very comfortable but service let it down a bit maybe due to myself and colleagues working during our stay. Staff very friendly and apologised for breakfast staff not being in. Main criticism was lack of supplies at the bar, after long days working at the Feastival event one looked forward to relaxing with a drink, no Bailys, no tap... More

Had a really good stay here, room was comfy with four poster bed and great ensuite. Staff were all lovely. The building is ancient so was a bit creaky and doors banged a lot, but it didn't disturb us too much. It could with a bit of a refurb though, some areas looked a bit tired and in need of... More

A great hotel, friendly staff and walking distance to everything. Free parking behind hotel. Lovely charming rooms. Had dinner in town but the hotel breakfast was very good. If ever in the area would return to this hotel. The small town was charming but smaller than we expected

We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay at this hotel. Although I booked a twin bedded room for my mother and I it was set up as a double however a quick call to housekeeping resolved the problem. The room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom huge with a fantastic shower. We enjoyed a wonderful meal in the evening... More

We stayed here on the 8th of this month . A slight problem with late booking.com. The staff were great and gave my mum and myself a room each .. Lovely friendly staff , couldn't do enough for you. We both had lovely rooms. I loved the situation of the hotel .. Stow was my favourite of all places visited... More

Our third visit over 3 years. Seems the owners have lost interest in this once lovely hotel. While the staff remain good they are swimming against the tide. It is now quite unwelcoming, not a fresh flower anywhere and the general fabric needs a refurb or renew. Our dissatisfaction was not confined to the fabric though - on our first... More

Stayed here for two nights with a large group. The rooms were clean and attractive and hot breakfast good. Main selling point is the staff who were smiley, helpful and willing to go the extra mile. Stow on the wold is beautiful and I would thoroughly recommend staying in the Grapevine as it is close to everything and service is... More

Overall it was an enjoyable stay. The room was quite spacious and we loved our electronic shower. The hotel was in a quiet area, which is just what we wanted. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was quite good. However, we were often woken up by the noise coming from the showers in neighbouring rooms. There was no... More

We arrived at they hotel, to a warm smiles and friendly faces, we where show to our room, which was stunning and immaculately clean. The bathroom was to die for, huge bath. Our room had a four post bed and the large room was decorated to high standard. We had dinner and bed& breakfast in our package, food was to... More

Hotel well presented, clean and in immaculate condition. Staff helpful and friendly. Were upgraded to four poster room without asking. Loads of tea bags/coffee & milk - not just the usual 4 of each. Loads of lovely little thoughtful touches. Makes this hotel stand out from the crowd. Breakfast was great too!
