My husband and I stayed for bed and breakfast for one night. The bedroom (Room 5) was fantastic and very spacious with a queen size bed. The receptionist was very friendly and informative. We were notified in advance that the kitchen was being refurbished and we didn't mind having breakfast in the hotel opposite - the Porch House. This is... More

My wife and I stayed for a night at the Grapevine and we so pleased we didn't book any longer . We were given an updated room as the dining room / bar were closed for refurbishment . At first glance it seemed ok but as our stay continued so did the problems, soon after getting there we tried to... More

We rented a room as we were attending a 40th birthday party in a house a few miles down the road from Stow, and as such we didn't spend much time in the Grapevine. However, on arrival the staff were attentive and assisted in arranging taxis for us (not an easy thing to do in Stow, we've learned!). The hotel... More

I needed a stop over on a cold wet midweek business trip and the Grapevine more than met my expectations. The car park is round the back but is very handy. Its a clean cosy place and my room was lovely with modern facilities and a low light in the bathroom, I hate crashing around in pitch dark rooms when... More

Visited this hotel overnight to meet up with friends We stayed in the Hotel for the evening (weather was bad) as it appeared very cosy. We were rather cold having drinks in the lounge and asked for the log fire to be lit - which they did but did not keep it going !! We had a meal in the... More

This hotel has its own car park and is well located for strolling into town. We stayed for one night in an attractive room. The bed was very comfortable and we had a good night`s sleep. The bathroom was excellent, with room to put wash bags and a powerful shower. There is a pleasant sitting room off the bar and... More

The lady on the phone scoffed at us, suggested we lied and hung up.... Not good. We were looking to stay for a weekend wedding but booked the travel lodge instead. I'm sure it's very nice but their bookings lady needs serious help. Welcome to the modern world Grapevine!

Welcomed, we were obviously expected. Pleasant if slightly small room with good sized and equipped bathroom and excellent shower. Good breakfast with chief who can obviously cook eggs- a small thing, but so many hotels do over cook both scrambled and poached eggs, these were great.

Anyway we booked the room and the price we payed for one night I had big expectations.on arrival our room wasnt ready... More
