This was out first visit to the Grapevine - we were guests at a friends 50th birthday party celebrations - and what a treat it was. The hotel itself is a delightful place with quirky corridors and comfortable, cosy rooms. The staff, from the ladies on reception to the housemaids and barmen, were friendly, professional and welcoming which made the... More

We came here for something a little different on New years eve and to try and win our millions at the new years day races, unfortunaely the latter failed!!! Our room 28 was massive, you could swing a 100 cats no problem :) and had a bed that gave a fab nights sleep. The bathroom not only had a bath... More

We Retured back to THE GRAPEVINE HOTEL as our previous stay was so impressive....Unfortunately we were dissapointed, the staff were very polite and welcoming however there was a party taking place, the noice was unbearable, , the walls are extremly thin and can hear every noice from the room next door,, also the floor in the rooms above are very... Last minute post Christmas break booking. The room was described as cosy and we were expecting a tiny room, however we were pleasantly surprised as the room was spacious, very well equipped and warm and welcoming. The breakfast was lovely and I could not fault it. My only slight criticism was the fact that the comfortable relaxing areas could have... More

We visited the hotel in December 2014. We found the hotel to be in a lovely location in a small town in the Cotswolds, the pictures certainly don't do this beautiful hotel justice. We were extremely impressed with the staff who were very attentive to our needs. We were greeted at the reception desk by a friendly welcoming woman (Jess)... More

My husband and I arrived after dark for a 1 night stay at the Grapevine, the web pictures of the rooms looked very attractive and this was one of the few Cotswold hotels left with any vacancies (there was a clue there!). No-one was on reception and despite ringing the desk bell, eventually another guest went off and found someone.... More

Stayed there in November for one night, the bar was empty although the hotel seemed quite full, we had to wait ages for our meal and in fact it was such poor quality booth my wife & myself returned our food and had a refund, the rooms left a lot to be desired so we won't be staying at the... More

We decided to respond to an advertisement offering a special price for a three night stay including dinner on one night. We found the hotel delightful. Our room, which was located in the small residential block which had been added to the main hotel with a covered access path, was very comfortable with all amenities and an excellent bathroom and... We stayed at this hotel recently for 1 night with a special offer of breakfast and dinner also there was a bottle of chilled champagne in our room on arrival. The room was spacious with a four poster bed, very clean with ample tea/coffee etc. 3 course dinner was fantastic with lovely choices, and the breakfast was cooked to order.... More
