Stayed for two nights, lovely stylish hotel, we had a lovely room and lush breakfast. Room was a good size with nice bed and both bath and shower in bathroom. The vine over the dining room is a pretty feature and we really enjoyed our stay. Great location for visiting the Cotswolds sites.

Enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea which had been bought from a 'Red Letter Day' voucher. Stow on the Wold is a beautiful Cotswold Village and the hotel is pretty central. The food was excellent and the service exemplary. The only complaint we could possible have had was that it chucked it down with rain all day! We would definitely go... More

The major drawback was that there was no electric socket near the mirror, so drying and styling my hair was difficult. Also the room could do with a few more lights. A bit concerned that the water in the shower drained away very slowly. Breakfast good, but more staff needed then and also in the restaurant in the evening.

Four of us had dinner at the Grapevine last Saturday night (18 July). The 50 minute wait for the food was an indication of what was to come. Two of us ordered the chargrilled chicken, roasted red peppers, sun blushed tomatoes, pine nuts, spinach and rocket. What came was a plate of leaves, with very little else. The classic bolognaise... We came for a family celebration as it is a very central location. There were 39 of us who travelled from the North, South West and South East of England. We were sent a very extensive menu from which we pre-ordered. The meal was excellent, the staff were superb and made it a very special day. Would have no hesitation... More

Stayed for one night when couldn't get in elsewhere. Massively overpriced (129 GBP for b and b). Small, dingy room at top of steep, narrow stairs (difficult with a heavy bag). Grubby, stained carpet made whole room feel grimy. No shower (had to kneel in bath to wash). Breakfast very limited and served in restaurant with zero ambience. Couldn't wait... More

This was a reunion of 8 friends who met for lunch and yes, the dining room did have a grapevine above us, and was bright and airy. We had booked for 1 pm but 2 of our party phoned us to say they were running late. The manager was very helpful and took our orders for 6 so they could... More

Very pleasant stay at he Grapevine, staff were very pleasant and helpful, room was clean and tidy although a little dated ! Bathroom was very clean and modern and fitted out well with both a bath and shower!! Excellent breakfast with a good choice of food. We didn't have an evening meal at the Grapevine, this was by choice and... More

Lovely hotel in the centre of Stow-on-the-Wold. The room & ensuite we had was faultless & the staff were most helpful. We didn't eat there as I wanted something "extra special" for my birthday. However, I'd certainly visit the hotel again
