Stow is a great base from which to take in the delights of the beautiful Cotswolds region of England. We had not been in the area for about 35 years and were looking for somewhere that little bit special to stay to celebrate our Ruby Wedding Anniversary. Thanks to Trip Advisor, we found that place – ‘Number Four at Stow’.... More

A bright modern hotel just outside Stow. Ample parking. Our standard room (104) was on the small side, but very well equipped, including a fridge. There was some noise from the adjacent main road, even in the middle of the night. Our dinner was excellent, but pricey even for the region at about £95 for three courses for two, with... More

We stayed one night with some friends after a 9 mile walk in the rain! Wonderful warm welcome. Our room was spotless and comfortable and a long soak in a hot bath was greatl. We then had leisurely pre-dinner drinks in the comfortable bar area. We felt relaxed and unhurried followed by a delicious meal in the pretty dining room.... More

Enjoyed a couple of nights at this hotel. The room was really comfortable and spotlessly clean. All of the staff were very friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was lovely as was dinner at Cutlers - definitely recommend. There is a lovely patio area where we had a couple of drinks enjoying the sunshine! The hotel... More

We had a great time - lovely staff, spotlessly clean room with an above average bathroom. We didn't eat in the restaurant as quite pricey but the breakfast was first rate. Would definitely stay again ad would particularly recommend the Family Room as great space with two inter-locking rooms which are perfect for a family of four.

We've just spent a couple of nights in this lovely hotel. The hotel is situated about a 5 minute drive from Stow and slightly further to either Lower Slaughter or Bourton on the Water. The hotel is spotlessly clean. The staff are very friendly and MORE than helpful, whilst the rooms are well appointed,.... we even had a full size... More

Stayed here on Sunday evening . This is a great hotel newly converted but done with taste and style. Rooms were boutique but well fitted out. Breakfast was very good with excellent service my only regret is that the restaurant is closed Sunday evening as the menu looked good. I will definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed 4 days in the Cotswolds with a very comfortable stay at Number Four. Great location, comfortable room, and very caring directors. Didn't get a chance to dine at Cutlers because of our busy itinerary . Maybe next visit.

We stayed here for a weekend to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday at the beginning of August. The room was lovely with a very comfortable bed and breakfast each morning was excellent - wide range of options and very tasty. My family joined us for the evening meal and our food was just delicious - the lamb was the best... More
