I quite liked this YHA because of it's location, nice tea room/dining room and the kitchen. The rooms are really old though. I ended up having a dorm room to myself for both nights so it was great, but it was on the very top floor and I imagine could get quite hot. The bathroom was fine, but only a...

A nice hostel in a good location. Friendly and helpfull staff. However the YHA want to mis-lead you by saying all 48 beds have private bathrooms. They do not. As a family this is why we booked. Our room, No.8 was on the top floor with only a sink. Toilet and shower are on the lower floor and shared with...

Easy to get to by public bus, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable common rooms, very friendly staff. Plus, you get to sleep in a historic building right in the center of the town. Stow is a great base from which to explore the Cotswolds, even if you don't have a car. There are numerous walking trails originating at the town or you...

We didn't stay here as we were staying at a friend's place in Stow, but this place is so fantastic for people with young children to have a brilliant value lunch. Kids can run around in the grassy beer garden with play area for children of all ages, while mum and dad can have great value wine! It's not haute...

Perfect location - right in the centre of Stow in the Wold. Old style rooms but clean and comfy with adequate showers and toilets. The kitchen got a bit crowded as its quite small, but the dining room was nice to eat in and chat over tea. Variable staff - some very friendly, others not so.

A good hostelling experience is to be had here and the hostel includes a large self-catering kitchen (many now don't), if you prefer to do your own cooking. Location couldn't be better, right on the town square and our dorm (Room 1) was of typical YHA standard - on this floor the hot water pressure was excellent by the way....

I stayed with YHA Stow with my family during August 2009 for one night. The actual building is very nice from the front and is in a prime location in the town square. There is limited parking to the rear but parking in the town square outside is free but time-limited to 2 hrs and patrolled by a warden during...

We were on the top floors, and one of the mornings the showers were just a drip! There were signs about running the faucet to get the pressure up, but it still didn't work. Maybe the ones on lower floors would have been better.
We wanted to check in a bit early, or at least drop our bags, and called...
