perfect place to stay in the lovely Painswick, really friendly landlady, amazing room, we stayed in a kind of a dependance overlooking the courtyard and it was like staying in your independent house with the luxury of having such a nice house, breakfast and host just two steps away. Room clean and tidy with lots of small amenities such as... More

We had a one night stay here and had a very pleasant time. Simone is a thoughtful and caring host from the cake on arrival to go with your tea, through to booking you a dinner table in a local restaurant. We stayed in the ground floor room across a private courtyard from the house. The room is not fancy... More

We enjoyed a very comfortable night here whilst walking the cotswold way. A quaint room with homely touches, lovely to have tea and cake with a warm welcome. No plasma tv or fancy gadgets to be found. Breakfast was excellent, very good choice and as much as we could eat!

I spent 2 nights at Troy house in a delightful room located at the back of the premises on the second floor. The room was spacious, quiet and filled with sunshine. The availability of Internet was very welcome and the host was clearly committed to ensuring that her guests were well cared for

A lovely welcome, offers of cake plus everything we needed in an attractive room across a pretty courtyard. Comfortable bed, lots of little extras. Breakfast was delicious, with good cereal, quality ingredients, fresh fruit and tasty croissants. Our host also prepared great baguettes for our packed lunch for the next stage of our walk.

Stayed when walking Cotswolds Way. Delightful place - a room at back of courtyard - very helpful owner - nice breakfast - nice cake on arrival - everything good. Owner went out of way to sort out a different TV when I said it wasn't working - but it turned out that the lead had fallen out of the back.

Owner Simone stood in for our B&B owner, both for a lovely English breakfast, as well as an initial welcome when we arrived, including chocolate cake and milk for tea. The people we shared breakfast with loved their stay also.

We booked this accommodation based on the reviews, and we were not disappointed. Upon our arrival, the owner greeted us showed us to our room and gave us some cake...... A lovely little touch..... The room itself was lovely a super comfortable bed, in a really nicely sized cosy room. The standard tea and coffee amenities that you find in... More

stayed two nights after walking 5 days on Cotswald Way. Simone was very attentive to our needs. Plus she surprised us with tea and chocolate cake in the afternoon, plus breakfast on her outdoor patio between her house and the small building with the two guest rooms. Would definitely stay there again.
